It was more than that. We'd be cruising with a double digit lead then one bad call and the bottom would fall out on both ends of the court.

St Louis #38 in NET. We need them in top 30 for quad 1 win.

I was looking at one of the CBB analytics sites that compares teams historically based on analytics. One of the similar teams to this AU team so far is 2010 Tennessee which Bruce led to a one point loss in the Elite 8.

I still think there are 7 haves in the conference this year and 7 have nots…

The 7 haves in no particular order
Auburn
Alabama
Arkansas
Florida
Kentucky
LSU
MSU

I still stand by whoever gets these teams at home or gets the least amount of these teams probably wins the conference. Way to many teams to go through all the schedules to see where everyone stands.

I do think if we beat Murray St. and OKie to close out all OCC games and go at least 12-6 in conference we are a 4/5 seed in the big dance. Every loss beyond that probably drops us a spot or so in seeding.

Long season to go

This will remain a Q1 win unless they bomb in conference.

I don't see how Murray climbs too much short of beating us. About all they have left after us is Belmont.

Welp Bruce pretty much came out and said Flan will see minutes against Murray on Rothstein's pod.

Let. Get. Dangerous.

He said if St Louis were a tourney game Flanny would have played.

Go ahead and downvote. But I don't know if Allen will be 100% this season. I need to see it to believe it

Wednesday we're up against Murray State who is also 10-1, might be a great game to attend in person, especially with students being home mostly

My bigger fear with Flanigan is how he will fit into this team. Anytime you’re in this situation all the fans are understandably pumped cause you feel like when you add a player of this caliber to the lineup you are just immediately that much better. But it’s basketball and figuring out roles and shot distribution and minute distribution is always very difficult.

I’m very excited too though as the ceiling jumps to another level with Flan. But I expect very real growing pains no matter how healthy he appears to be.

Rothstein podcast link. Jon really does love him some Bruce Pearl and Auburn. He’s pretty high on this year’s team. Nice to have given the hate Bruce gets from some media guys.

I would assume Alan will come in when JayWill does since they have experience together getting probably around 10-15 minutes per game for a couple weeks. Then increasing and taking some of Cambridge's role the more games that move along. Possible some of KD's minutes as well at the 2.

I didn’t realize Murray St is 10-1 and could easily be 11-0. Cool thing about them is their best player, Tevin Brown, is from my high school, FAIRHOPE. My wife knows his mom, nice family.

Rothstein has been high on us since before the Final Four run.

And yeah it's nice as hell to have SOMEONE in the media that puts his negative biases aside in our case.
