The US is on a 7 day rolling average of 1300ish deaths a day. If our vaccination rates mirrored say, Israel, we would be averaging less than 250 deaths a day. Google the info.

What is short sighted is you wanting Auburn to change from an academic institution to a political institution.

It is not a university's place to decide to make political stands, in either direction. That's for the politicians that represent us, which it seems like Kay Ivey is doing. It is wrong to ask Gogue or any president and to take responsibility for the political components of this decision.

Pretty wild that it seems like the same people who bitch about politics at universities are now bitching Auburn isn't taking a stand on politics.

What if our obesity rate matched Israel? Our sugar addicted, processed eating asses are ridiculously fat. Makes you think.

They already made that decision. [

Kay Ivey already has yet Auburn has commented that they will ignore Ivey’s orders. They are making a political decision. You are naive to think politics doesn’t play a role.

Pretty wild that you can’t see the university is making a decision that violates constitutional rights of American citizens. Glad to see your freedoms has a price.

No doubt.

However, what is the answer? Should we withhold treatment from people who don't do basic things to improve their heath?

Hell, who knows how many unvaccinated people would have died in July/August/September if that was how the health care system rolled in the US.

Unfortunately, I've been in the position where floor nurses have asked me why we are giving heart patients substandard care because unvaccinated "idiots" their words not mine are unnecessarily clogging up our ICU.

Google the data. It's not hard to see the pattern.

AU has announced they will ignore the Governor’s order and plow ahead.

Is state funding for AU more than Federal? Perhaps it should be cut.

You mean like you do throughout this thread? People who are saying that this is no big deal are clueless about Freedom and our constitutional rights....I bet you were one of these Mask Karens also. Medical stuff of another individual is none of your darn business.

Some of us will leave our jobs if it is mandated by our companies. I have employees that are willing to walk out...when hiring new people that is one of the first things they ask about is our policy.

I'm completely in support of your right to quit a job that requires a mandate to sustain its business model.

And ill never give my alma mater another dime. And i feel sorry for any early 20something college athletes that have taken it. They've been lied to

Which section of the Constitution is that in exactly? Or is it one of the Constitutional Amendments? I must have slept through that part of my Con-Law class.
