They shot it good the entire game. Blocked shots and rebounding in the second half let us down.
Our scorers aren’t efficient scorers. Volume shooters.

I just hope the NCAA makes an example out of them and restrict them from the Tourny and vacate all their wins

More important than that is that we need to make sure Magwood does not play another minute this season. Keep him on the bench.
We have to keep 21’s minutes up. He is a true difference maker for this team. He will lead us to the promised land for sure. I predict he actually scores a basket again (just give him 4 more games Coach Pearl jr).

Why you worried about magwood so much? The teams are close and the refs were the difference. They made a few more shots as well.

Muschalek or however you spell it shouldn't play period, he doesn't do anything even to a average level. I don't think Magwood will play for us again though. They said they played Overton at the point and Muschalek at the 2... if that's the case then Simon Walker is who has to play. I think Bashir kind of quit too, so I doubt he's even an option for a few minutes at this point.

He put in some very good defensive minutes but he is embarrassing on offense.

I mean.. I don't think being on the ground while Bediako falls over him is very good defense lol. He's just a traffic cone out there.

I mean if you want to reduce his entire game to just one play, go for it, but he defended well when he was in the game. Same can’t be said about his offensive play. Not sure why separating the two is an issue.

Two middle of the pack teams battled it out. Bama has more talent on paper for sure. Bediako eating up space in the paint and protecting rim played a huge factor for Hall’s scoring.
Just wild that dude is still somehow playing. He absolutely takes Bama to another level defensively and on the glass.

We gave up 59 points in the second half. That's arse crawling time thus coaching

I don't think he was a good defender at all.. There's a reason we didn't see him again. He's the worst basketball player I've seen get real minutes in an Auburn jersey. Makes Lior Berman look like Kobe Bryant.

Steven apologists are deep in the bag of excuses early

This team has too many holes and the fact Bruce bolted just before the season tells the story… There is zero reason we should not have 2 centers that are SEC caliber on this team and here we are with nothing. Tasha as has severely regressed and our three point shooting looks rec league. AU isn’t a bottom dweller anymore and the AD needs to find a HC that can continue upward trajectory before the program nose dives off a cliff again

I was assured that Steven being the defensive guy our defense would be good.
Hint it's ranked worst than Bama's

One less cut finger and we win both of the last two games.
That's a TOO thin of problem that we shouldn't have. Not saying it's all head coaching but there's too many non-contributors for some reason this year.
And SP needs to get a ejected over all these every-week bad calls... instead of just getting red in the face.

We’ve been told AU fb was coming back too but the program is dead

Just so we’re clear, this team has too many holes and it’s Steven Pearl’s fault? Kinda seems like it’s at least partially BP’s fault if there is a talent issue. Didn’t do Steven any favors leaving the cupboard bare, especially with the bigs.

Steven recruited and was prepared to roll with all these dudes whether as HC or associate HC. Dont tell me about what he inherited.
