I agree. I just hate seeing these folks go full on hyperbolic media personality. He is usually pretty good.

He is using several assumptions and his biggest is probably our WR group which has many sophomores hasnt gotten any better since last year. I expect Cam Coleman and Simmons to be better and I expect Fields and Perry Thompson to have roles. If Singleton is the speed guy then its next man up for Simmons

In my mind, its not just a matter of the receivers getting better it will also be about who is throwing them the ball. That will have a huge impact. Eric Singleton wouldn't have put up the numbers he did trying to catch passes from Payton Thorne.

KLS put up 981 in 12 games but the offense was half-assed and that only falls Freeze's shoulders.

That's pretty much the million dollars question for the entire season. If JA can cut down on the turnovers and execute in crucial moments, this team will be good. Outside of horrible special teams player, the turnovers and bone headed decisions in key moments (some on coaches and some on Thorne) are what sank last year's season.
