Can we get a snap count OC/QB. The clap is not it, hasn't been for the last few coaches either.

All this clap does is give the defenses visual and timing to fire off the line. I have never understood that on any level.

Also, if the RB is offset from the QB 99% of the time if it is a run play the back is designed to go to the opposite direction (eg if he is offset to the right, the run play is to the left). I hate the shotgun on run plays. You start at a 7 yard deficit. Never understood that concept.

Defense rolled over in the second half. They were moving the ball at will. Great first half but once they adjusted their personnel we literally could not stop them. Would have scored more if the game situation required it.

When? At 17-14 we made them punt (UT was not out of regular offense), then we gave it up on downs. Just making up stuff.

We have zero offensive identity. The selling point ro bringing over USF was they know the system, blah. We look like a poorly coached freshmen team. We have zero base formations we can lean on for 3 or 4 yards. We have zero middle of the field passes. It is bubble screens or 1 yard runs.

What’s baffled me is the amount of miscommunication between Brown and receivers. There were a few plays yesterday where we had a numbers advantage and the slot receiver had someone 10+ yards off of him. Normally, they would run a short hitch or something there as they should be reading the defensive alignment and adjust the route. A couple times Brown looked at it and the receiver wasn’t even looking his way and he had to eat the ball and either started scrambling or ate a sack. That shouldn’t be happening with these guys.

Yep. I was very concerned after that. We were down a few of the starting receivers then, so I had hoped they would have helped out there, but it’s been much of the same poor reads, late and indecisive, and lazy play.
