What a miracle if we could find what clicks and make a run late…

Since 1986, 5 teams have reached the FF as an 11 seed. LSU ‘86 to most recent NC State ‘24.

How AUsome would it be to Be Americas Cinderella this year!!

It's nice to dream, but we don't have the guard play to make any kind of a run in March. Offense or defense.

More depth than play. Tahaad is on an island.

The late game offense is absolutely brutal. ISO Pettiford or ISO Hall and not really getting them to their best spots as it stands. They've turned it over in those situations more often than they have scored in SEC play. Can we get a little more creative Burgo/SP?

And I don't mean in like the last 30 seconds, basically all possessions after the under 4 TO have looked bad lately.

I obviously don't think we are making any kind of run in the tournament even if we get there but none of those other teams listed would have thought they had any reason to either.

You’re so right, Carl.

The spacing and movement just seem not to be there at critical times.

We have to get Hall the ball on the block and space the floor like we did to begin the year. Him initiating offense and driving into a wall of defenders is not very effective when the whistles are not going your way anymore.

Oklahoma on the road is tough. I am worried if we pull that one off the real trap game is coming out flat against one of LSU or Ole Miss at home

No trap games. We should know that we r not talented enuff to take any game for granted. Just think of Moo St and Mizzu for that matter

Fact of the matter is we still sit poorly on Lunardi's bracket.

If Kentucky was a pressure crunch they all will be. We cannot breathe a sigh of relief before Norman.

Guessing a Bama win would be a Quad 1 win?

And another in what's a big bunch of them.

Bama yes, but also Oklahoma will be a quad 1 win if we can get over the hump there tonight

If one of the wins was Bama maybe.

17 wins in regular season and one win in the SEC tourney would give us a shot at making it in. But most of the teams that have made it in over the years with 18 wins had winning records in their conference play, not losing records. Which would be the hard thing to overcome despite our strong SOS and ratings.

I've always heard the committee does not use conference tournament success unless the team is on the bubble.

(Which that would explain Jared Harper's team not moving up)

So theoretically conference tournament success will matter for us and our resume being atypical to other bubble teams left out we should have good standing to remain in. The A&M team that was left out did not have our SOS.

We still need to go 3-1 though.

I don't nerd out on these stats like some so maybe I'm way off but I feel like if we were in before the Kentucky game at like 5-8 in the conference then winning three of the last five and finishing 8-10 would be enough?
