That's an effective strategy. Lot of QBs like Penix Burrow and Cam Ward only reach potential at 2nd or third school. Why pay for a raw QB.

The way the practices are setup just provoked softness. Also stated he could count on one hand how many practices were full contact. We also knew about Hugh’s health over 2 years ago.

QB is the hardest position to rate out of HS. NFL starters are the best proof of that. A lot of former 3 star guys starting.

So did other SEC coaches. I heard Freeze say one time that other coaches were negative recruiting by saying Freeze has health problems. This was well before Freeze formally announced it.

True but how many of those 3 stars in the NFL were great College QBs when they got there and how many of them got great coaching in college who made them great
