It would take $10 mil to get a mid level coach. Nobody worth a damn is walking into this dumpster fire. Let Hugh burn it to the ground and his contract expire and then start over. We are getting what we deserve.

Auburn is no longer a “big one.”

Beating us now is like beating KY or Miss St

Auburn has never been a big place for good coaches to land. What big coach has this program landed in the past 50 years?

We will get another project in the end. It is what will come here to coach. And you cant blame them from how they have been treated

Yeah exactly right

By “big one” I meant we are no longer a big game for our opponent

Anything beats Freeze right now. Literally anything. Muschamp sounds like Knute Rockne right about now. No joke.

Bieniemy has no SEC coaching experience. Neither does Stein. Denbrock only had one year of SEC experience at LSU. We have seen what happens when we hire a coach without experience coaching in the SEC - Harsin.

We are on track to lose a minimum of six home games this season. Our home crowd is going to be subjected to us losing six of the eight games that they paid good money, traveled and cheered on for.

We are definitely considered a loser program now based on being multiple teams' homecoming opponent the past few years. Leath destroyed us with the Gus extension and shitty AD hire. I just hope my yet to be born grandkids will get to experience a winning AU program before they graduate college.

You say this like there are a lot of schools that can. Look what Tennessee did until they finally got a coach. None were that big at the time and like 3 cosches were terrible. Theres maybe a handful of schools that can bring in a big time coach and sometimes that fails. Look at USC and Michigan for a period of time. Quit acting like Auburn is a fricking poor house.

The only way Hugh isn’t here next season is if he resigns.

Most schools our size and level have at least one or two signs. We have zero. And I do agree wih you but it still remains true. How many recent coaching searches have went well?

Never acted like we are. But we are not a place that coaches are dying to come to unless they are green. Or trying to get some kind of redemption form past transgressions.

We are stuck with Hugh for atleast one more miserable season. Though I have zero confidnece he will greatly improve. Yea we may win 6 or7 but is that really a improvement to keep him?

Bieniemy?

Real talk. If you give me Andy Reid’s play call card and knowing Mahomes and Kelce are liable to bail you out on a bad play, I’m confident I could be OC for the Chiefs.

Yep, there is zero chance he's going anywhere minus a real scandal or resignation.

Now the people saying he's here for 4 years no matter what are way off too. If we don't show major improvement next year then the boos we heard smatterings of at the game today will be deafening, and the empty seats at JHS will speak for themselves, and he will be gone. His seat is going to be scorching after 4-8 in year two.

He was a very divisive hire to begin with due to the off field stuff, fans will have very little patience.
