That game was hard to watch without getting totally pissed off. Getting up so many point late and not being able to hold on to it when LSU was playing terrible is just a representation of how they have played all season.

We have some talented guys out there but this is a bad team. They have no idea how to play together on offense. Who ever has the ball, shoots. No flow on offense at all. Just every man for himself.

And Spencer should not be taking the ball inbounds. He is so lackadaisical, he almost threw it directly to LSU twice and I saw at least 4 times where he never even got fully out of bounds and threw it in.

IF LSU would have fed the 7-1 kid every play late, they would have won

Still have a looooooong ways to go

Believe it or not, that was one of the better team games we've had in awhile.

The problem was once we got up by 10+, guys wanted to add to their scoring totals and DGAF about being a team player

Barkley called them out on being dumb freshmen and he was right. They have to learn to play together for the full game.

You must have not been watching the last 10 games or so. Almost all of them are frustrating to watch.

This team needs to learn to win and put teams away. Cost us against Ole Miss and UGA. I believe consistency will come as this team matures. 12-6 with 12 games to go. Can see 4-6 more wins. A winning record would be a start.

18 wins would be good considering how shitty we look. Good thing for us our conference is bad.

18 wins

20+ next season

Completely agree with this. We could've been up a ton in the first half if shots would've fallen. We ran a pretty effective offense against their zone, but missed a lot of open shots. It all unraveled when we decided we were up enough to act like we were playing in the rec center. Hopefully they'll start maturing.

I have been. Which is why I said that is was a good representation of the entire season. Nothing has changed on offense. Its still 5 guys and a ball

You didn't watch this game. We did a great job moving the ball and distributing, missed some good looks but had great team plays

Once we went up >10 we stopped doing the team thing until LSU caught back up

It's so frustrating watching this team. We all knew when we were up 15 that they'd find a way to piss it away. Every fricking time.

Our defense is ranked #267 out of 341 Div-I teams.

Well Lanier you said this

I'm not arguing that we reverted back to bullshite ball

But to say we haven't changed at all on offense is not based on the actual gameplay

We're #66 in scoring offense and #267 in total defense.

I think I see the problem.

So in other words, what we've done the entire season

Defense is surprisingly not our problem and those stats are incredibly misleading. We are ranked top 20 nationally in tempo, which means the opponent (and us) have significantly more scoring opportunities and our points allowed number reflects that

According to KenPom, we are #91 in defensive efficiency and the only reason we are so bad is our offensive rebounding

Defensive Categories we are top 100 in

-Opponent eFG%
-Opponent turnover%
-Opp 3PT%
-Block%
-Steal%

Densive Categories we are better than D1 Avg

-Opp 2PT FG%
-Opp FT% (We cheer loud?)

D Categories we are worse than D1 Avg
-FTA / FGA
-Opponent Off Rebound% (#323)

We obviously aren't good defensively, but our offensive style and poor shot selection contribute to our bad defense as much as just playing poorly on defense.
