tough crowd. el is aufam and he has the recruiting thing rocking for the most part. he and i have butted heads but i cannot say i dislike the guy.

E doesn’t even post much on the AUFam boards anymore. He takes a hiatus every now and then over the years but this time I think he’s living a little more balanced life.
To the person who said all he does is copy and paste…true, but what he used to do was so unbelievably time consuming; going to all the major sites, organizing info, and then condensing it so you and I can quickly digest it. Those efforts are missed, but since he wasn’t getting paid for it I think he made the right call by stepping away.

We are very familiar with E on several platforms including AUFam. We don’t worry about feels around here bruh. But all are welcome and it’s mostly in jest anyway. Some miss the sarcasm and if you know E he is one.
All know his story and several here have met him, but no one gets a pass here.

I am a huge fan of his because of what he has to deal with on a daily basis. I would not wish that on my worst enemy.

Yep. I link all the recruiting threads from the past on the first page of the current one and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that most of those folks don’t post anymore.
People shite on folks like E and I for relaying free information (“copy and pasting”) in an informative manner that doesn’t make Chicken send me emails. I don’t expect applause and I generally ignore anything assembling recognition. I trade that for my thread staying on task without moderation. It feels fair
I’ve tried to quit many times. I’m here for the long haul and I’ll take the occasional shot for my effort. People need to release steam and I’m willing enough to take it.
Sucks that people make these threads though because Ellitor didn’t ask for an extra opportunity for people to come and talk about his flaws just because someone got drunk and misses him. Ellitor is one of the real dudes that have come across this board the past few years and I’m glad to know him and all his imperfection
