What makes me say that is that the NBA is my favorite sports league period and Cooper has the ability that is more coveted than any other. That ability is to consistently create high percentage shots for his offense. Wide open threes and lobs at the rim.

Doesn’t hurt that all the NBA scouts I pay attention to are also salivating over him.

I'm sure he could get drafted in the first round but he isn't ready to play in the NBA. He's at least a year away from having his body in the shape to not be a defensive liability. It's better to get minutes while doing it and possibly move into the lottery after his sophomore year. He has no financial pressure pushing him into the draft.

The slefish part of me wants Coop to struggle shooting this year, and get bullied a bit. That way he is talked into returning for one more year.

Our roster looks great for the 21 season, but if he stays it would be elite. I have no doubt if Coop comes back we make a final 4 run. It's going to be hard to keep him though...his vision and ball distro skills are elite already.

Sharife’s family is not hurting for money.

He’s got court vision and handle.

Size is what it is.
Shot can improve.

I would not be surprised if he stayed one more year.
It likely depends on lottery projection versus first round.

I think he may also enjoy playing college basketball in a more normal season.

The draft is a deep draft this year. That may help us.

Did you guys actually watch the game yesterday? He was missing free throws, missing shots ....Not his best court appearance except for the court presence making his team mates better. He stays one more year, for the experience ...then he can buy his girlfriend a house. Mom and Dad already have a big one.

I agree he needs to work on parts of his game if he really wants to be a lottery pick. THe huge money is there along with the publicity.

I think he also would love to compete at the college level, play in the NCAA, and work on the parts of his game that will elevate him for a high draft pick.

I think he stays regardless of how well he plays this year...
