Allen Greene, Auburn University athletic director from 2018-2022, found a new home in a familiar conference after moving on from his one-year tenure at Ole Miss.

It was announced Thursday that Greene has officially signed on with the University of Tennessee to become its new Senior Deputy Athletics Director.

How long before Harkinson moves to Knoxville?

Hopefully they'll let him become deeply involved with the football and basketball programs.

Allen Greene was a disaster with the Harsin hire. But I gotta give him credit for locking up Bruce Pearl for a while.

If he pissed Bruce off, I think Coach has forgiven himself since he's a top 5 paid coach in college basketball.

How did he piss off Bruce?

During the Leath witch hunt fiasco, he was credited with backing Bruce and not Leath

During all the cuts, didn't he make the basketball team take a bus to USCe or something?

yall are pinning the blame for AU dysfunction on the wrong dude

Leath (and Harbert) are responsible for the football program’s downward spiral from 2017-now

Yes he pissed off all coaches with 10% budget cuts across the board, but not just bruce or anything. If he did anything to piss off bruce I'm not aware.

Greene made the baseball team take the bus in the postseason. That was ridiculous but the only thing I didnt like about Greene. He wasnt a bad AD, just not cut out for what he inherited- bunch of squabbles.

Yeah, hiring his Hot-Tub Wife-Swapping Tater buddy as Auburn University Head Football Coach had NOTHING to do with the downward spiral. If only Harbert hadn’t interfered Tater would have been AWESOME.

Sure.
