Much better game plan on offense to cover up our limitations. Defense played their arse off.
Don’t know why we kept rushing 4 on 3rd and long. Need some WRs that can make something happen.

We showed the country how hard we play, the crowd came, croots were probably impressed

Me too. We might be dangerous in a year or two. As bad as today sucked, I was looking for signs of improvement this year. Knew it would be a tough year, but improvement gives hope. The waiting is the hardest part, as that Florida guy used to say.

I saw signs of the culture changing today. We out physical’d them often, we just don’t have the talent. But it’s coming.

I’m glad the game was close for recruiting purposes. Coaches can sell that performance to them. They can say “look what we did with North Texas talent.” WR recruits are going to look at a lot of those drops and think they could have made the play.
