There's few positives to losing, but one positive about this game was that it marked a true change in Auburn's perspective. Before 2010, many fans were ok with challenging in the west and beating Bama. Now our program EXPECTS to win. We are hurting from a losing a championship game. I think this is a great thing in that the bar that Auburn sets for itself is now much higher than ever before.

Agree in the fact that I've hear a lot of AU fans say they Only cared about winning the iron bowl. I've always had the mindset that I want to go all the way as often as we can. Beating bama isn't the mountain top. Sure I loved the streak of 6 but I'd been much happier losing one or two of those IB but being unbeaten the rest of the season. AU is on the up and this time IMO we'll keep goin up for several years to come

I read something in a article this week that really explains it to me. It said that in the past years, Auburn has built Championship teams. Now we are building a Championship program. Really is how I see it as well.

It is sooo damn hard to get into position to play for the Natty. That is probably my biggest problem with losing on Monday.

I feel this will fuel us to have another successful off season where we will work hard to improve. The team will still be hungry and that is a good thing i guess.

Second place two times in 10 years. First once. But this season restored Auburn Football. The future is bright. Love this team.
