Here is the game at my personal lows. I hated Harsin so much I wanted him to lose this game just for Missouri's arrogant kicker to do this.

Here is Brandon Frazier doing one of his routine failed blocks getting Damari Alston injured for a long time.

I think things don’t end well for this dude. I think there is going to be a revenge tour against him this year.

everyone talks about 3-2, this by far was the worst game i’ve ever witnessed - and i was actually suffering there in person

just an absolute nightmare from start to finish, and the fact that Mizzou basically handed it to us not once (the Mevis miss), not twice (being offisdes on Carlson’s miss in o/t, giving him a second chance) but three times (their idiot RB dropping the ball inches from the potential game winning TD) just makes me hate it three times as much

I think 75% of the stadium wanted us to lose that day. Harsin was a terrible experience and experiment. Something we will tell grandkids about

That was a taunting by the football gods. Since you might have missed it being at the game and all the announcers talked often how confident the kicker was that he was unorthodox in never warming up.

3-2 and the Mizzou game are definitely upper echelon when remembering bad football.

And then we follow it up in CoMo last year with an epic late 4th Qtr collapse. I could not believe we found a way to lose that game.

There have been coaches with worse records at Auburn but Harsin might be the worst in the dynamics that he inherited. OL was a hair weak but in the portal era easily managed. Gus’s time had passed at AU but he was a good coach. He recruited solidly. And left Harsin with a roster good enough to start 6-1 prior to the Miss state meltdown after Bo got hurt. It only went downhill from there and completely destroyed our roster. Can’t stand that fricker. Barfield wasn’t a good coach but he was a great person and at least had some exciting offenses.

I’m sure McPherson wishes he’d never heard of Crohn’s(they want us to say Crohn, but I’m old) disease.

IF McPherson is healthy last year, we win a few more games.

Herb Hand really has Gus by the balls and I don’t get it. His line has been mega arse and Gus totes him everywhere he goes now

Worst four year stretch in my lifetime

It's the worst 4 year stretch since the 1940's. This is objective fact if you look at wins/losses. AU has not been this bad since WWII. Even Barfield was better and Barfield was only paid $40k a year.

AU has always been a program that has a shite season every so often, but they always rebound fast. It is rare to see multiple years in a row of it. And, to me, multiple years of .500 is worse than one year of 3-9. When you have multiple years, this becomes your identity and people in the program get complacent.

Jones, just beat who we normally beat (5 yrs ago) and we are a 8-9 win team. We’ve had some terrible losses the last 4-5 yrs.

How the heck has USC, Ole Miss and Mizzu passed us

The first Cal game in California was very close to that Jang.

The only reason Auburn won was because Cal wanted to lose

Remember watching that game and thinking that the only reason someone was going to win that game was that someone had to. Truly awful play from both teams on both sides of the ball. Felt like we would have seen a higher level of play if both schools had sent their best intramural flag football teams.
