I was going to buy tickets at the game, but now I think I may order them online.

Is ESPN covering our game this year?
Yes. Announce team is Joe Tessatore, Todd Blackledge, and Tom Luginbill. Bama has been reduced to being on the U.

Because people go out of town to visit family on Easter?

I am a little irked as well, but I also have a buddy's engagement party that I need to make an appearance at. Add in Atlanta Steeplechase that day and it's clear to me people just don't give a frick about Easter anymore. sad.

To be fair, the presents aren't nearly as good as Christmas

This will be my first A-Day game.. The only reason I am driving down is the baseball game afterwards. That was the icing on the cake.

I'll be there. Never went to an A-Day game while I went to school. Go figure.

Are you sure you want to watch us play Top 5 SCe the way this baseball team has played recently?

Students are free, btw. Not sure how much of that was just banter, but this is from the Auburn site.

Auburn's annual spring football game, A-Day, will be held Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. CT at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Tickets are $5 for the general public and free for AU students with an Auburn Ignited card.

As for the 65,000 number, I bet they are counting the student section as already "sold". That's still 43,000 sold. Either way, that's about 10 times as many as I'm used to for spring games...and a few thousand more than regular season games too. Go crazy Auburn, indeed.

my brother in law was trying to get a room near Auburn this weekend, closest he could get was Alex City, the hotel manager said the calls have been similar to a regular season game and he expected a near sell out. Still find the 65+ hard to believe on Easter weekend.
