I knew it was bad bad in the game but 24 is insane.
How? We have 3 legit SEC defensive coordinators on that side of the ball.

Well at 13 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, we both had 6 possessions, yet our defense had been on the field for 69% of the clock. I believe that explains a lot.
Ohterwise, Buster Faulkner is a premium coach and also we only have slightly above average talent on defense (not NFL type).

We have been recruiting middle to lower of the SEC pack. We get middle to lower of the sec pack results. Years of Freeze and Harsin has taken a toll.

We have many NFL type talented players on the defensive side.
Almost all the linebackers and safeties will all make an nfl roster. Probably 4-5 DL when it comes to their draft year will get drafted. 2-3 corner backs on the roster will make the NFL.
Team just looks very confused in zone
Coverage. That’s why we get so many 3rd and Durkin this season. He goes zone and bring 1 to many blitzers. Like if the offense has 5 blockers DJ wants to make sure we hit the QB so he brings 7 and plays soft zone behind it.

You are smoking Crack if you think we have that many NFL guys on D. UF's OL and RBs were clearly on a different level than our D. UFs mid QB was just clowning our DBs.

Jared smith, Darrion smith, Eric Winters, Fegans, Sylvester Smith (on the bubble), Melendez, Atkins, woodby, Deas, Womack (probable), Faulk, Arnoux, Jenkins, Andre Jordan (bubble), Wilkes, Dallas Walker will be on roster, Chris wells, Goun, Tavian Branch, Autry, Corey Wells…

these people are deep in their emotions right now. Give up on asking them to use logic. That happens when you're losing more than you have in 70+ years. It's a lost cause until we win games

Adkins and Smith will get looks. Medz has a shot. We don't have a DB tgat would start on another SEC team minus Arkansas and Vandy. Our expectations is tge playoffs, but we recruit at the back half of the SEC. We miss tackles because UF had better players. Hard stop.
