You also said he was a "different deal"implying what others have said many times over that he is the real deal of a coach. Newsflash Freeze had great summers of recruiting and the same ole giddy Auburn fans were bumping their optimism of their football seasom up to ten wins by the end of July.
The difference we want is recruits recognizing our product as something they covet.

Most of my enthusiasm has more to do with people behind the scenes pumping his organizational skills. He himself downplayed his ability to recruit during his introductory press conference. I prepared myself for a low end developmental class, but have been pleasantly surprised. I think that's cause for celebration. I understand we haven't reached the finished line or close to it, but I think your statement applies to others more than me.

I am talking to the people celebrating recruiting wins in June and you are one of them.
The product matters more than the recruiting. The recruiting will work itself if the product is fine.
All we have seen up to this point is window dressing.
The commitments lack resolve this green stage of the cycle.
And the Texas's and Oregons of the world are holding out the big checks just like they did with Na'eem Offord. Waiting to know what the number will be.
So be nimble, and wait it out a bit.
If his produc sucks then his recruiting wont matter anyway. It would be lipsick on a pig.

Please share some more knowledge from the CFB Gods with us mere peasants so we can know the future of CFB as well, chosen one.

I mean, he's not wrong. Commitments in the NIL era (unless it's a diehard fan) are more and more performative. On the field results and final NIL numbers seem to have way more impact than summer commitments. Doesn't hurt to have them however.

I will.
We are ranked 23rd in recruiting according to 247 sports but we have warm feelings and crocodile tears of joy.
Golesh is doing well so far.
Auburn bored: Golesh is diffrent!!

it's not just the Auburn rant that's saying this. It's people close to the program who don't have access we don't. I'm telling you (almost) every positive story I heard about freeze was linked to recruiting. However......after year two even the most dedicated Auburn sunshine pumpers were saying he spent too much time on the golf course and he had no clue how to manage a program anymore. I'm exited because our last three coaches probably wouldn't have pulled our last two Online pickups. (Even freeze missed on Tavaris Dice and several others) He did sign Lew to be fair though

If there was one coach putting in less effort than Freeze, it was Thorton. You mean to tell me a young guy can come over from USF and already get more blue chip OL commits in 6 months than Thorton could in 3 years?

So crazy how we were projecting ahead several months ago, to official visit season in early summer and the dominoes would fall after that and all.. I didn’t expect us to have so much recruiting traction/interest/reception we’ve had. I don’t think our staff really knew either. Which means we’ll probably sign a bigger class than originally thought or at least we hope.

If tweet fails to load, click here. No idea who it is, but jlee said it's big and Clemente said it's a good one. My speculation is Rion Jackson because I believe he's supposed to announce tomorrow or Wednesday

I dont think Rion Jackson would be considered big compared to recent commits

Looks like it could be Chance Gilbert, Fong just made a post about Auburn trending for a top target and it was chance Gilbert's profile and underneath says Auburn moved in front

Gilbert is uber talented. Would be a huge pickup. He could play any position in the secondary
