Thanks for the updates crazy, are we looking at him for receiver of CB?
Posted on 5/27/26 at 2:32 pm to trinidadtiger
Not a clue. According to 247, DVD is his lead recruiter so my guess would be CB but could be one of those you get on campus and show us what you are better suited for situations, you'll get your shot to prove you belong at whichever one you want.

Crazy,
Alan Head mentioned that two can play the game. You bring in two of the top CBs then look at the two we want and say....ya better tell that agent to make a deal or you may not have a slot.
I doubt we spend the money for either of the top two, save the money for the OL and DL.
I see the Kompas kid is in this weekend. Ole Trinitiger is sitting down here thinking, we could have two Germans playing the OL for Auburn? But its been years since we had a decent OL, whatever it takes, tell Golson to find us a couple Ruskies, them Cossacks are some big ol boys.

Yea, I’d say the team always has that card they can play of limited space when you have two guys on campus at the same time and say whichever one commits first gets the deal and all. I think Dobson though, probably knows every team in the country will hold a spot for him no matter what

Interesting. Walden cancelled his Clemson visit for us as well.

We are NOT playing with NIL right now. Brian Smith said Reed is probably the best center prospect in the country. Hope we can pull him

Friend I trust said he's a better prospect than Lew was and he was very very high on Lew

I believe this is the fella Rance Brown said he was hoping was next on the OL. Tells you what the coaches want as well.
As a sidenote, Rance Brown's trainer is King Dunlap who went to Brentwood Academy as well.
That interview with him on JLee was really good. Said he had not started til a couple of years ago. Learning everyday now at Brentwood, and Dunlap had also emphasized the weight room which he had not worried much about in the past. So he has heard all the 3 star business, but judge me after a couple of years at Auburn.

Yea, can definitely tell that. A full season in a college program should do him wonders. Physically, he and Lee Ziemba honestly look pretty similar in High School. Obviously Ziemba was much farther along and polished to this point with a higher ceiling, but just body wise they look a lot alike.
Good to see Dunlap in the coaching world. Always liked him.

Isaac McNeil, wonder if they will take he and Culpepper given we already have one on board and a young position group already, and NIL being what it is?
Course we would love to have both, but do you have to forgo one so you have enough money for the DL and OL you have targeted?

That's not a bad sign.

Have to believe one of them may be for Nash Johnson. My guess at least.

What are your thoughts on Nash Johnson? We seem to be very high on this kid.
I would think we are only going to take a couple from the high school ranks. Dobson probably A&M bound. But Gilbert and Gaylord are very highly ranked, seem to be very high on us, and we are pushing for Johnson?.
Just curious, the kid does have a very good offer list. He decommitted from bama, but I dont know if that was him or them.

I think he is a stud. He is one where his recruitment and his rankings seem very out of whack. He has offers from everyone and is being recruited very hard. Dobson is our #1 obviously but we have Johnson up there with the next group after him. I think we take at least 2. I think he could play multiple positions in the secondary too so some flexibility with spot options.
I think he is similar to Kareem Palmer. He already got bumped to a 4* on some of the sites. We see both as absolute priorities.

If one could be Nash who do you think the other might be?

No clue at this point. We seem to be trending with both Gaylord and Gilbert at the moment. I’d be ecstatic with either of them. Hell, maybe we take both. I think Gilbert projects probably more at your Nickel position where as Gaylord and Nash both seem your more prototypical field/boundry guys.
Aidyn Wiggins may be another to look out for so it seems. I really have no idea what we are looking at numbers wise so hard to get a feel
