Bro, I know this is a part of your shtick but Harsin level bad? In days we'll sign another 4* that was committed to Texas AND the corner from Stanford who's just outside of the top 100 btw is trending. When in the Harsin era did we get a 5* commitment and several players in and around the top 100? We don't have as many commitments......... Some teams have their whole class finished. Point being/low class (ranking) has to do with class SIZE not talent. Miss St has 28 commitments, but their class will NOT finish anywhere near ours. you have to see the math right?????

Harsins only full class finished 21, hopefully we'll get there but we aren't close right now

They literally just got a 5* #2 safety in the country.

One guy makes a whole class?

We’re at 33 with that 5 star. Our avg per recruit still isnt top 10. We need more than that guy.

Maybe it turns around but it’s objectively not a good class as we stand today.

Holden Geriner, Keionte Scott, and Jeffrey Embah inflated that number.

Dont go full dumb

What does that even mean? Falzone will almost definitely never be the quarterback at auburn and we'll definitely have a couple of busts/non contributors in this class too.

And we will have plenty of contributors. Show me the solid contributors from 2021 or 22.

frick it- throw Harsin's incoming transfers in there too.

You cant show a list worth diddly squat. He signed a successful linebacker in the portal that would rather redshirt than waste his career on Harsin.

Shut about Harsin you dork.

I want to know what’s gone sideways with a couple Bucks already on the roster. Waller and Phillips. Very surprised that JJ Faulk jumped them so quickly.

Corch I wondered the same when we went out and got Chris Murray I kind of said uh oh, the coaches obviously dont think those two are going to contribute and its their second year.

Other stuff from 247:

Corey Wells measured in at six foot five and 330lbs.

Jaquez Wilkes of Friday set a state record, they scored 56 points in one quarter. He had 9 rushes for 209 yards and 4 TDs. 2 sacks, 2 tackles for a loss, and forced a fumble.

Lasiah the CB committed to Stanford, may be back this weekend, things sound very promising.

Lots of highly ranked DL for the 27 class on campus. I think Corch mentioned we would be light this year and heavy next looking at the layered roster.

DeShawn Spencer was there, he is very similar to Singleton in style and a little larger. There is one other receiver we are looking at, his name escapes me, I think they are just trying to chose which one to take this cycle while watching how they perform their senior year.

The OT Jared Doughty, so he has received offers from us, Mizzou, Georgia, in the past couple of weeks, now Bama showing interest. Visited this weekend, something has defintely changed in how he is viewed versus his ranking.

Woodyard is contributing, Scott had a good year here, tre Donaldson was good at basketball lol, Alston is one of our top backs, Hunter was a stud.

Harsin sucks though to be sure

In the year of our Lord 2025 he is finally a somebody but still not deserving of his ranking.I guess "solid quality contributors" are going by the wayside when you talk Harsin but when Freeze gets someone they have to blue-chip or they are nobodies

He had a decent year then had a real shitty one.

Donaldson was good at basketball lol

More proof Harsin's recruiting rankings were way overinflated.

Because of attrition

Harsin can claim this prize even though I know it was all Will Friend.

Freeze brought in more quality players from his initial half recruiting class than Harsin ever did. Connor Lew, Keldrick Faulk, Kayin Lee, and so on. They didnt have to wait three years to get on the field and they performed like they could play on multiple SEC teams.

My friend, don't take this as me defending harsin, he's the worst. That's why it's alarming when there are any similarities between his tenure and where things stand at the current moment.

-The ink is not dry yet. There is ample room in either direction for the recruiting class to move dependent on the Auburn season. I am hoping we have learned from last year's finish by pulling an Oregon by not showing our hand until D-Day and then swipe a player from somewhere else.

-There was some confusion about revenue sharing/NIL that handcuffed Freeze during the early summer. The ex coach simply did not recruit. Would I give Freeze this much grace if he hasnt delivered in recruiting before? No I wouldn't. We must realize that NIL has to erase expectations of previous coaching staffs as well. Sure Freeze can sign a 6th ranked class one year but what if the environment is not conducive for following success for a myriad of reasons. What if money simply dries up- after all its not like we are stuffing the coffers with reserves. The best recruiting coaches cant work with that scenario so they might as well be working at the service academies.

-Thirdly but not the least, you are indeed my friend too
