Drumming up business in a slow month I’d guess. Pinkston’s predictions from last year’s prediction day were DJ Barber, Demarcus Riddick, and the TE that committed to us before we dropped him. So at least they’re not throw-away picks.

Nice, nice.
Tavaris Dice is another OT that is very close and would be a nice nice pickup.
I think Josh Petty is the fella out of Roswell you are thinking about, dont know about us, we offered, so did 80 other schools.
But I did hear on the JLee show that Babalola out of Kansas is coming for a visit, he is ranked right up there with Petty.
I dont get too excited about these visits from far away kids, they usually are taking the visit as a round robin through us, bama, georgia and a few others in the SEC.
Who knows though, I saw one of the guys say he asked DeAndre Carter how a kid for Cali picks Auburn and he said he was absolutely blown away, told the parents ya gotta see this place and the people.
I honestly think some of these kids think we run around in robes and such which makes the true atmosphere that much more amazing for someone not from the South.

I think both Pinkston and JLee have now added this prediction too

I think this is new, forgive me if not, but it looks like 247 updated its rankings. Autry is near a 5 star now as the #34 player in the country and Faulk and Crawford shot way up to 43 and 86 respectively. Good news for the DL if those rankings hold.

Ha, we didn't fully avoid the Auburn negabump. Fegans (who we seemingly lead for) and Devin Williams had decent sized drops. Eric Winters tumbled several spots as well.
Perlotte and Alvin Henderson fell several spots as well so the tea leaves may be favoring us lol.

There is an interview on line with the evaluator at 247 discussing the new rankings.
With Faulk there is discussion about LB or Edge. He said at LB his long strides could cause him to get tangled up in blocks inside....but are ideal for an Edge to rush.
Crawford, on a line that was not that good so he was constantly double teamed, had 15 tfl and 9 sacks as an inside man...he has the quicks for a big man.
And he mentioned twice that in the camp Autry measured at the 6 foot five and half inches, and 292, not the 320 he got his weight changed to. Its obvious he has grown quite a bit though.
