A high majority of the top QBs from 2026 are already committed elsewhere.

I am more than happy to focus one year at a time though.

Hot take here, but with the decomittments of higher rated players than we are signing recently, I am seeing NIL ‘s effect on recruiting more strongly than expected early on. I feel we finish outside the top 10… 12-15 range. I guess big cat will give a clearer picture, though with NIL, it’s pretty much down to the wire on everything.

Pinkston posted a thread that’s still up saying that he heard that Auburn was more in it with DK than he originally thought, and now believed he was the one of the 3 they have the best chance at. Also said he heard there was growing confidence he was going to come to BCW.

This likely prompted the ND writers to reach out and confirm if the visit was happening.

Things will happen. I honestly believe Freeze and company will "leak" to them only what they want out there. It's a different time for Auburn Football. We need to believe it.

Hugh was hired by Auburn the very end of November, six weeks later he offered Deuce, when Deuce was a relatively unknown 3 star. Deuce has mentioned that and they knew each other from when Freeze recruited his older brother. I like our chances.

Id watch out for ole slurpee, sip or whatever his name is over there at ole miss, he is still in the hunt for a QB.

The knock on him is he is "streaky", last season he left his ole team, transferred to a private school in TN for three games played IMG, Saraland, some other powerhouse, lost to all three and transferred back to his old school....That would make anyone "streaky". His performance at elite 11 showed what he can do now that he has matured.

He is a dual threat. 4.53 laser timed 40, 42 inch vertical, won state championship in long jump and high jump.

Most on here are better at this than me. But as good as he is, if he could just focus on football, and just on receiving, I think we will find out how special he can be.
