Chex roll your eyes all you want but this is pretty common knowledge about Smith.
And if you are going to drop the kind of bag on a kid like Smith that it’s gonna take you want to verify the character of the kid. I have it at 50/50 with USCe and AU but with Auburn having the momentum.

2 different players. Hollis is done and locked in with AU.
Smith is 50/50 AU and USCe with Auburn surging.

If that's the case then Jang's CB flips to AU.
Need keef to confirm after speaking hush hush w/ his sauce.

I personally think AU lands Smith now that we are turning up the heat the only real question is how much is USCe willing to over pay. If they go way out of the value for Smith I don’t think we match. That’s my only concern now.
The longer the recruitment goes the less likely he lands at AU or USCe. He is going to completely dominate the is year and others are going to come calling. We need to get Smith in the boat before August in my opinion.

75%. We viewed him as a tweener early on but he’s shone a ton of upside through spring/summer.

Hollis, Woodby, Smith, and Ward would be a great month.
I really like Ward

Ward is a big pickup for us tomorrow. Always gotta have a talented road grader on the interior.
If all holds like we expect you have a solid 5 across OL.
LT - Dice
LG - Dowland
C - Buster
RG - Ward
RT - Shull
Now time to swing for the fences on a couple of the top dog OTs. Babalola, Goodman, Petty. If you land 1 great, 2 awesome, none we still have a solid haul on the OL. Dice and Ward are a hair underrated. Really good players. Buster the staff really loves.

I’m not griping, and still believe this will be an incredible class, but how did we drop from 4 to 13 in team rankings seemingly overnight?
The two decommits and other teams getting a bunch of top guys moving up?
I feel we’ll solidly be back in top 10 or 5 by Big Cat, just trying to understand

Lockhart was very highly rated. A player or 2 that is highly ranked can move you multiple spots.
If/when we land a Smith or Feagans we will shoot back up some. As always you want to look if you filled your holes and per recruit ranking.
One thing that has me holding steady to finishing in that 4-8 range is the number of players we are going to take. I’ll say for now that number is 26-27. Then 4-5 transfers and that’s before anyone transfers out.

Any news on juju? I’m ready for some good news.

Nothing new for Juju. Auburn feels confident. Auburn if rumors are correct have basically match all the other offers in NIL.
Now it’s just wait and see. I think he will probably want to be done before his high school season starts and hopefully before his fall camp starts

We just landed Davidson 2 days ago. Will land Ward today.
Feagan and possibly Smith by the end of the month. And feel strong about Woodby but not sure the date.
I think we land around 6-7 players this month.

Jacobe Ward I believe.

And we haven’t even had big cat yet. I’m sure it will have a surprise

In film I question Jacobe Ward's pass protection (Im kidding). As near as I can figure, his technique consists of taking half a step back, when the poor fella crosses the line he lungs at him, throwing him on his arse and then falls and grinds him for good measure
Road grater on runs. There is a play where he hits his guy so hard he knocks him down, another lineman behind him, and a third has to sidestep to keep from being knocked down as well.
Pink loves this guy, and the coaches as well. He and Buster they think are very very underrated.

Yea I’d think he is a prime candidate for a big rating bump as his senior year goes on. He’s gotten a ton of good offers. One of those where the offers and the rating don’t match.
