That isnt USA Today. That's a subsidiary weirdo, probably a libtard if not purple-haired AI. Some "USA Today" writer was also busy hating on Pearl too.

And if Auburn were to do it they would have a story in the hopper ready to go about how we’re too quick to fire coaches and we’re still paying buyouts to 7 different coaches.

i thought hiring Freezus was a mistake from the gitgo

but firing him now would be equally as bad of a mistake

let the season play out and see what happens

Yep.

Video of Saban spanking (literally) his QB on national TV during a real game comes out and the media is jerking him and the Alabama program off about how great it is he "coaches 'em hard and makes 'em accountable!"

Freeze throws his visor when Arnold clearly screws up in practice and it's time to burn it down because Hugh Freeze has no clue what he is doing. He is throwing his QB under the bus again when JA apparently doesn't know where or when to throw the football.

Its ridiculous. That type of thing happens at football practices every day, at every level, all across the United States. It is coaching.

It makes me laugh every time. Even with this play calling crap. If we suck this year, its not going to be because of that . For the most part, I didn't think our playcalling was a big issue last year, execution was. I'd have loved to run the ball a little more, but some of that was Thorne making bad RPO reads and some was just Hugh's offense and that wouldn't have changed if he was calling plays vs anyone else. It wasn't perfect, but we called a ton of good plays that the execution failed, not the playcalling.

We are not the first team that has multiple inputs into play calling. I'm assuming it will be just like it was last year, where Nix has free reign over the early downs and Kent gets his say on 3rd and longs since he is the passing game coordinator. Hugh will still have his ability to call or veto anything he wants to. Not saying it is the exact same as anywhere else and there may be more input that the 3rd coach gets thany other places where it is mainly two people calling plays, but most places the play calling is far more collaborative in a given game than people realize.

If they suck at it again, then they just suck at it and Freeze will either have to take it over or he will go down with the ship as we fail this year.

Today was a really rough day for the offense.

I take it Singleton, Cam, and Perry were all held out of the scrimmage, as well with whatever other bad play happened?

Scrimmaging against one of the best defenses in the country, top three receivers out, and three coaches calling offensive plays on different downs will do that.

Looks like Hoke was saying the DL ate the OL's lunch.

Caldwell's notes are a little more friendly towards the offense. He said the defense dominated early but the offense came back later with some big plays and Td's to answer. Cam practiced and had 3 big plays. The offense scored at least 2 TD's with one being a pass to Frazier. Cobb and Mabson both looked good at rb

Yeah it's stupid. If Freeze had went 12-0 last year and made those exact same comments, no one would give a shite. It wouldn't even be news.

I’m not panicking. I think we only play two defenses as good as ours the whole season. Offense is handicapped.

Cam did play he’s just in a non contact jersey and made a few big plays

Best note from the practice to me was “no offensive turnovers.”

Besides probably QB, just in the sense its an unknown, this is the spot I'm most worried about. Those short yardage situations have me a little concerned.

Mabson is an absolute dog. He will be RB1 by the time we go to College Station.
