Correct. The bigger issue is when guys want to go shoot at like 3pm but can’t because the women’s team/volleyball is using the facility.

Well, we have thrown $$$ left and right at the football facilities for 20 years and look at the results from the last 10.
Maybe we should spend a small % of that to build a friggin' gym for our basketball team to have access 24/7 when they feel like working on their own? A simple well-lit basketball court with a nice lounge area is not that expensive to build.

Yes I agree with both, they need a facility and the football program ROI isn’t there. It’s an interesting study about about refilling NIL accounts yearly vs Facilty upgrades and which programs get what.
Plus think about buyout money that could be used.

Nope and not even decent since 2019. It will have been 6 seasons beginning with this fall’s campaign that we would have had a relevant football season. Sad.

I don’t think Tre comes back fwiw. I don’t believe it was his choice entirely to enter the portal.
He’s still contracted through OTV until May. Regardless of transfer portal.

Talking heads said our guard play was the weakness going into the tournament. Maybe they were right.

So Rice is a take if he wants it, and if he says no or doesn't decide fairly quickly maybe Pegues comes on.
And after we land one of those two, I'm guessing we go find a JUCO or unheralded type to play the backup 1. People will balk at that approach but it's just hard to land 2 highly touted 1's.
Not to mention Denver and Pettiford are also there to get backup minutes.

I'd say it's 50/50 from what I can gather. He wants a bigger NIL deal(shocker) but if he doesn't get what he is after he still has a spot.

Anybody got a snapshot on who we actually have on the current roster? Not panicking but seems we've got to do major work in portal before next season.
