Rumor on bama board that Aden may commit to them as soon as today.

I wasn't ready to give up on Aden's potential as a shooter. Still not sure he'll be ready to be a starting pg that is counted on for a deep tournament run. But put in the right spot, he could be a deadly 3 point shooter. Was hoping that he would find a school outside of the SEC. If he does go to Bama, will have to root hard against him. If he doesn't get mentally tougher, he will get eaten alive in Neville next year

Can’t wait to hear the boos when he plays at Auburn especially when he misses almost of his layups.

Yeah don’t love the idea of him at bama. If he goes there all Oats is going to ask him to do all offseason is shoot as many 3s as he can get up. The one bad fit for him in that system is that you have to be a threat to drive and finish at the rim and Aden struggled mightily at that.

I'm all for it if that means Sears leaves. See you in Neville, Aden

He still may visit Michigan, but if he cancels his trip it’s likely bama. If he does commit he will catch he!! At Neville next year no doubt.

Oats targeting Aden is a little strange since he doesn’t really fit the mold of a pg in that system- ability to get to the rim and finish. I think Oats is almost doing it as a subtle shot at AU/Pearl.

A lot of chatter from Bama fans is that Bruce failed Aden and Oats will fix him. Aden didn’t live up to the hype but he still was a starter on a team that won 27 games and made the All Freshman Team. Aden might take the next step at Bama but he probably would at Auburn if he stayed.

Weird situation.

Small guards generally suck at finishing at the rim when they are young. He has blow by quickness and elite range so I think Oats is happy to take his chances. That being said, I’m skeptical he will be capable of captaining an elite team at PG as soon as next year so let’s hope this also means Sears is gone

Yeah this is true. Aden is capable of getting by his man but struggled in the lane a lot.

Some smaller guards just have a natural ability to get to the bucket and finish. Shariffe had that ability.

Coop was something else. Three point shot took some work but was automatic/sweet getting to the rack.

Coop was insane. Such a shame our only memories of him were from such a terrible year otherwise. Bad team, no true home court, ineligible for post season, etc

There's highlights of him against Yale going around twitter right now. He was terrible. Like I said a couple of days ago, I hope he goes there because it makes beating them easier. Not to mention this is the same guy who stopped speaking to the coaches.. now might transfer to our biggest rival? He couldn't hack in on the right side in Neville last year, he will get eaten alive and I will enjoy every second of it.

That one stretch mid to late first half was so bad. I think it was a missed layup, turnover, and two missed open threes on like 4 of 6 possessions when we really had a chance to extend the lead. He better give us more of that next season.

Yeah and it’s comical. Bruce continued to publicly praise him and tell him to keep shooting and he kept him in the starting lineup to take the pressure off of him from having to do too much.

Hopefully Sears leaves and Aden is forced to start at the 1 again.

KD to George Mason. Good for him. He’ll run rampant in the A10.
