Certainly not a lock but he’s visited a ton although not on officials. He may want to use those for the fall.

So if a top player you want comes on a bunch of non official visits but never goes on an official visit to AU does that translate to anything positive or negative to this recruit leaning to signing w us? Or does it mean absolutely nothing….

So Brock Glenn gets on an Oh St offer and then a week later we send an offer out to another QB from Fla. Karmello English sets a commitment date while on an OV to Kentucky and hasn't OV'd here and the next day we see another WR offer go out... now I don't want to jump to conclusions yet, but that doesn't look ideal.

Auburn’s recruiting in totality hasn’t been ideal under Bryan Harsin. It’s something we will have to grow accustomed too.

OSU also appears to have ramped things up for another QB and have him coming in on an official FYI.
ETA: And the QB we offered is a ‘24 guy.

If he's a 24 the guy I'm just wrong there. Somehow I missed that. I still think the Karmello English news doesn't look great at the moment, but there's still a couple of weeks until he commits.

Sounds like Thurman's visit went pretty well, at least. Bain too.

All the visits go well the big problem is that these guys go to other places and they negatively recruit the shite out of Auburn.

No we won't because if it doesn't change, and it doesn't appear that it will, he won't be here long enough.

Ha yea, I love these posts. 98% of the time recruits say their visit went well about every school they visit.

Everyone should be relieved to hear that Bruce is involved in Thurman’s recruitment

Considering they are being catered to and told how great they are the whole time on every visit, why wouldn’t it go well for the recruit?

Apparently Wedin got some CBs for Mich St this weekend. Looks like our coaches are slow playing him for some reason.

That would be a mistake, IMO
He’ll OV still atleast
He’ll OV still atleast

I’d typically not be concerned about interior guys but we can’t afford to slow play dudes that seemingly want to play here
Not when we need like 6-7 dudes this cycle

I'm with you. Seems like I remember them trying it last year and it didn't work out. Hopefully they either feel really good about someone else or they stop the slow play. I don't understand not locking that type of player up now.. if you find someone better later then you can always encourage them to look elsewhere.
