I wonder if we'll have the same posters pretending it takes 2 years to build relationships like they did to excuse Harsin's arse recruiting.

Guy didn't understand the time requirements of a $5million salary.

I didn't for Harsin and I won't for Freeze. The expectations if you are taking a full class or 20+ players is to be around the top 10-12 at worst.

Considering Freeze has actually recruited the south and recruits know how to pronounce his name, no should be much quicker results.

Strong convictions loosely held. I’m going to give anyone leash until they give me a reason not to.

We hired a guy in the middle of a recruiting dead period that had no connections to the area. His first 6 months he could only Zoom recruits. Under normal assumptions, he needed time.

Then he proved he didn’t get it. One mistake after another until he left zero doubt about it. Freeze gets the same benefit from me until he proves otherwise. I don’t think that’s unreasonable

Fair points. Also, it may not have come across as such in my post but it wasn't meant to be an implication that Freeze will have the same issues recruiting as Harsin. I have no doubt he will recruit at a much higher level than the previous staff. I do question if he can replicate his highest highs at Ole Miss but time will tell.

When the dead period was over,,,,,he overlooked Auburn high. Those tough circumstances became irrelevant real quick.

Good God

Nah the one school Harsin didn't overlook was Auburn High. The rest I agree

6’2” 219 lbs. 82 tackles 2 sacks and 3 forced fumbles this year. Maybe he could play LB for us.

I’m loving these OL guys and we definitely need them. Where are the edge, linebackers and DL. We need depth.
