Former 3* OL Dayne Shor entered the portal from Bama. He barely made it 4 months
He was trending to Auburn under the previous coaching staff but Harsin never offered despite him loosely being a legacy and at a position of need.

He has speed. Shaky hands and couldn’t catch contested balls consistently. Was a poor route runner as I mentioned before. I think we can do better even if we go to a smaller school.
I have no idea who is right but this is the complete opposite of the 247/ITAT take, which is "precision route runner, great hands, not a burner but adequate speed."

Gotta love Auburn fans, we have been saying we need a WR and then we get one and he is not good enough

Caldwell was the one who said that I believe. I won't say he's wrong, but he has a soft spot for people that he covers or gets to know in high school.
Shor leaving might be because of a health issue. Just rumors though.

So good eval?
Not sure. Sounds like he’s having mental health issues per his Twitter

He’d fit in nicely with Auburn fans because our fans can be pretty bipolar
Could workout with some therapy for him and fans.

Caldwell was just quoting the high school coach.

Please let us have the giant leprechaun OL with the crazy eyes!!!
I wondered what you meant....then I saw his profile pic on ESPN, boy looks possessed, lol.
Great size, but interior line, sure could use a tackle with two years instead, but hey, lets hope eh?

Auburn coaches finally made it down here (Augusta) the other day (Schmedding was who I saw). They didn't offer the WR from here that I want them to, but they did finally offer the OL I've been talking about. He's still years away, but I was ready to get mad if we didn't send out an early offer with the way he's blowing up
.

’23 OT Keyon Cox
Caldwell/247 thinks this is a guy to keep an eye on. Ole Miss just offered and he’s talking to other SEC programs. Lanky OT. No clue on Auburn interest

Tigers make Top 6 for 4* RB Roderick Robinson II
quote:
Auburn is a finalist for one of the top running backs on the west coast.
Four-star back Roderick Robinson II of San Diego (Calif.) Lincoln named a final six Saturday of Auburn, Arizona, Cal, Oregon, Tennessee and UCLA. He visited the Tigers earlier this week.
Robinson, listed at 6-foot-1 and 230 pounds, is the No. 16 running back in the country for 247Sports. Auburn offered him a scholarship in late March.
He attends the same school that produced both Marcus Allen and Terrell Davis. Robinson’s father grew up in the Birmingham, Ala., area and played football at Pinson Valley High.
Wednesday, the Robinsons got an up-close look at Bryan Harsin’s program at Auburn and spent time with running backs coach Cadillac Williams.
“It has been amazing,” Robinson told Auburn247's Jason Caldwell. “They showed me around and we had some real good conversations about, not only developing as a player, but also as a man and as a student. Football is the easy part to them, just coming out and competing every day. My expectations were blown out of the water. I wasn’t expecting all this. I loved it all. I just love the way they care for their players. Academically, it’s a lot better than I expected with more resources than I thought.”
Last season, Robinson rushed for 1,273 yards and 17 touchdowns on 185 yards.
“It has been amazing having that first-hand experience,” Robinson said of his Auburn trip. “He’s been there and done it all. Having (Cadillac Williams) as a coach would be really beneficial, I think. He’s been there. Just having that experience and being able to give you that blueprint to get there would be really nice."

His dad is a big Bama fan. Nonetheless, seems to be really supportive of his son checking out schools like Tennessee and Auburn. It really seems like this is a kid that wants to be back in the south.

5* LB Terrence Lewis arrested again for battery.
A lot of you will remember him… Went to Maryland and then transferred to UCF to be with the Gus Bus.

Will be interesting to see how Gustav handles this - he gave the impression of being a straight shooter about such things at AU, although there were always rumors of altercations between players (and coaches) that were allegedly swept under the rug.
