Unless he loafed around and took the minimum amount of classes. But the non-offered major is more likely.

Red flag for me. If he has screwed around this much, I would question his locker room presence.

Or the CC business school has a discipline that Auburn doesn’t offer (like golf course management for instance).

who knows… regardless, this issue isn’t on auburns end.

Listened to the locked on Auburn podcast this morning and they were saying his major is sport’s management and we didn’t offer it so that was what happened with the canceled visit

Well I guess that makes sense. He is probably a senior needing specific 400 level classes.

Sports management is what half these guys major in, yet Auburn hasn’t added that major? Geez

I don’t know what his desired degree is in but like Desi we don’t offer a sports management degree. Whatever degree McCall is working towards at Coastal we don’t offer at AU. So after year 2 you have to be at 40% toward your degree if he were to transfer to AU and complete 30 credit hours to be eligible.

Year 1 20% toward degree
2 40% toward degree
3 60% toward degree
4 80% toward degree

To be eligible

So then the AU folks likely took his transcript of passed classes and tried to match them up with all of the majors Auburn offers and he was short 30 hours to be on track under the best case scenario.

If it’s what half these guys major in then why do we never have a problem like this? Also someone else said Bama doesn’t offer it either. Seems like they would offer it if it’s such an obvious thing you need to offer.

JUCO OT Izavion Miller decommitted from Ole Miss.

He said he would, and that he’d pick between Auburn and Miss State. Guessing Auburn

It may have to do with having to offer so many other useless woke degrees we don't have room for anything else.

Florida is the premier sports management/ sports media school in the SEC. I’m guessing for most untalented students sports management would end up a dead end career….

I just want it to be known that Auburn will finish with a higher ranked recruiting class than Ole Miss will with Lane Kiffin.

Hugh Freeze and staff are doing work.

I’m happy with recruiting so far.

Meh on the coaching hires.

We’ll see about on the field.

OM picked up 2 guys today so far. A OL flip and the #8 RB.

OM sits at 25 now in the rankings.

Harsin’s class finished higher than OM in the composite last year. Auburn was 21 and OM was 27

With transfers added to the rankings, they moved up to 15th. That’s kind of the deal with Kiffin so far. Below average HS recruiting but really good transfer recruiting

I imagine we’ll be ahead of Ole Miss in the composite again this week. And we’ll see come spring what happens ultimately with transfer recruiting

That looks like the difference with Freeze. He’s getting the portal guys. Haskins struck out there.
