2023 3* DB from GA with the growing offer list

Auburn has been thought to be the leader. He’s the former Arkansas State commit. Has offers now from Kentucky, Bama, Miami and Tennessee

With Wedin I don’t think coaching staff really matters either. Think it’s all about he just likes Auburn the University better

I think so too. He’s a country kid that wants to hunt and fish in his spare time I think being closer to home ultimately was important

Wedin- save that announcement for the day after the staff is fired.

Months before Back in Black was released sending their careers into the stratosphere, Bon Scott died of what was officially listed as alcohol poisoning. In true ACDC fashion, Angus added a heartfelt song to the album in memory of Bon....."Have a Drink on me".

Now back to recruiting, or the lack there of....

So is Tyler Scott really Bon’s grandson?

That is absolutely fantastic if true

Bon Scott died in 1980

His wiki entry indicates he allegedly fathered at least 2 children.

A son born in 1979-81 would be plenty old enough to father a highschool senior.

But I don’t know if its true or not.

Looks like Auburn is really trending with Reuben Bain right now. 4* DL, top 100 guy from Miami Central. On3 thinks he will announce in the coming weeks

They also noted that 4* OL Wedin could commit this week and that Auburn is putting themselves in a good spot for top JUCO OL Keyshawn Blackstock

Luckily Bain seems like a guy that loves Auburn. It seems like the vast majority of the quotes from him have been focused on environment and Auburn itself. Also doesn’t help when after a game the guy is referring to Auburn as “we.”

Also have to assume this uptick in recruiting is due to some degree of NIL heading in the right direction.

if he pulls a top 10 class, we will have to digest Harsin may not be fired.

Doesn't matter now, every time I see his name from now on I will have "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" playing in my head

Probably a combo of NIL and knowing that Harsin is out and what they are hearing about potential replacements or what Fabianich is telling them.

I don't think its a coincidence that the closer Harsin is to getting canned the more momentum we pick up.

I don’t know if any of these guys are being given rumors of coaching interest. You never know, I suppose

I don’t think our brand is strong enough in Miami to land a guy like Bain if it seems clear that Harsin is out I don’t think that’s a controversial statement. I do think this may be our first real indication that NIL has us in the ballgame finally.

If Bain commits this month regardless of Harsin being fired before or after that commitment, I think we can feel good about our chances on real dudes again.
