Watched Ravenwood HS QB last night. Has 23 offers currently and is committed to Mississippi St over FSU. He is a great dual threat recruit at qb.

We need to win against Penn State and put on a show. That’s all I know. I know we got the orange out. We got a flyover. Hopefully we can get some strippers and blow. Maybe some alpine sauce.

It’s a good base. Better than last year by quite a bit, I think (low bar). The obvious criticism is in quantity rather than quality. With some exceptions, of course. The class lacks the upper high end talent that we truly need but the floor is a lot higher.
The second criticism is, again, the OL. That position continues to trend unfavorably. Starting to become concerned about LB now as well.
4* WR Hopkins will commit this week and 3* DL Harkless commits soon-ish. This class still has a lot of potential but you wonder how much time is working against us with ESD nearly 3 months away. We’re probably looking at a middle of the road class again unless we land some guys like Russaw, Smith, or Hughley. Those odds seem long still regardless of the positive news we’ve received lately.

Clemente has said recently he expects Gernorris Wilson to commit during his official this weekend or soon after. I haven't seen him back off that yet.

This weekend will go a long way into our future OL. Almost all of our top OL recruits are coming. Not saying they have to commit this weekend but we need to make big moves on some of these kids and I don’t think it has anything to do with if we win or lose.
