Seriously basketball and baseball can't even be argued they aren't better. Women's gymnastics could be. Track and field might get there with that new coach. Am I wrong? Did I miss anyone? Equestrian?

If we are giving the same effort to make football a success, I'd hate to see what everyone sitting on their hands and farting looks like.

I do know Harsin can beat LSU. Gus gave that game away year after year.

Great. I expect a three game winning streak after LSU rolls into town this season. Aggy Cam better be ready to run for his life.

So now we're hanging our hats on Harsin pulling out a win vs LSU? LSU had a lame duck coach and had already come completely off the rails. That's almost as bad as Beamer hanging his hat on beating us

Gus shite the bed multiple games every year. People forget that. Comparing Gus to Harsin is like saying who is the tallest little person at this point. Gus had plenty of time. His program regressed. Let's see what Harsin can do with more than one year under his belt.

Auburn fans seem to be growing increasingly insecure, clinging to sunshine and rainbows as the present looks even more bleak than ever before. It’s okay to admit Gus sucked but he had a flare for star aligning moments when his team beat more talented teams.

Corch: baseball team needs better fan support ( I don’t even pay attention to it)

Awwwburn faithful: wHy YoU aLwAys bItChInG!!$;6;;(

also Auburn faithful: a prepared thesis on why FInley’s 10 points in regulation proves Harsin is the reason why the IB was so close

Oh there's something brewing for sure. I'm certain whatever it is, it isn't good.

New Dukes scoops:

— Jelani Thurman will visit for BCW

— Ja'keem Jackson doesn't look like he'll pick Auburn and you could see Auburn make a move on 3 recruits: Shelton Lewis, RJ Johnson, and Colton Hood in the future.

Colton Hood is a multi sport 3* ATH from Eagles Landing Christian in GA and his dad is former Auburn and NFL standout CB Roderick Hood. He said Auburn has evaluated him within the last week and he also has offers from UF and Michigan State. He has a brother 2024 RB Brandon Hood.

Shelton Lewis is a CB out of Stockbridge, GA who Auburn has been evaluating and interest has picked up since he decommitted from Pitt. UNC is the presumed leader atm but an Auburn offer could change things. He is regarded as a twitchy athlete with the ability to be a standout CB with development.

RJ Johnson is a 3* Arky Commit who visited Auburn over the spring and is teammates with the hood bros at Eagles Landing. He is solid to Arky RN but Auburn, Florida, and other schools could get involved as recruiting boards reshuffle as fall football begins.

— Harsin who has previously taken a CEO approach to recruiting has been lighting up phones the past two days and Dukes sources say that could pay off for recruiting moving forward. Some recruits have said Harsin has been doing this for a while now, but now his efforts seem to be more inclusive.

— Josh Horton will not visit for BCW, he will be on vacation with family Saturday and at Tennessee the 29th. He's visiting Tennessee cause he's never been there and still considers Auburn a top school. Horton said that Brumbaugh, Ruzic, and Zac have been doing a good job keeping Auburn in his recruitment.

— He continues to hear buzz about Lew + Auburn with UGA being the main competition.
Auburn consistently recruiting Lew as a priority has boded well for them.

— 3* Sandy Creek LB Marcellius Pulliam has continued to rise up Auburn's board and is a take.

UR LB Jamari Whitehead camped at Auburn this summer and has been in contact with CRob after a standout performance this summer. He fits the size and athleticism profile Auburn is looking for and depending on his season could get an offer.

Was just 3-4 years ago there were so many mentions of Auburn losing out on recruits because we didn't have a new Football-only facility like our main competition for top recruits did. "If only" the administration would commit to and build a football Taj Mahal like those other schools, then we would win our share of the top recruits. I guess maybe $90+ million isn't enough to build a top-level facility or, the recruits don't know it will open before the end of the year.

We should be the pick for Denaud today. So that’s good could be a solid player. Not overly impressed with his frame but makes some plays. Maybe he is like Wooden doesn’t jump out physically but whips the shite out of his guy.

For the negative side. Looks like we have fallen out of favor for Ramil Stanton. So whatever.

Heard this from people who know Hunter Osbourne. Clemson leads with Bama close. If Bama pushed he would commit there.

Good news on Lew. I was surprised when Clemente and others started saying they were hearing positive news regarding Auburn’s chances. Being honest, I didn’t really believe it

On Wilky Denaud — agree with Corch. I actually like his “frame” but it’s pretty clear he’s gonna fill out. He’s lean. But he does a good job getting around the corner. Ultimately that’s the job

Another note, UGA’s 247 said Lew measured at 6-4, 293 on a visit there
