You’re really going to struggle recruiting if you ditch a guy every time he flirts with another school

Could be wrong but isn't this basically what happened with us and Story?

Also, any chance Dee Crayton is Rodney's kid?

Farmer certainly has a committable offer from UF. He was one of a handful of guys the new staff chose to recruit.

The stuff that gets spewed here sometimes just makes me laugh

Thanks Randy, that was my point, I think he is doing the same thing with Florida, new staff told him to shop around and we wont broadcast the fact your offer is no longer there.

Sorry Im negative, like everyone, this OL recruiting is quite depressing. But 2023 is off to a much better start.

If you’re already getting defensive I’m guessing we fade to 0-3

I’ve said as much. So you’re not really going out on a limb there

It just irks me when someone makes up something and starts developing their own bullshite Recruiting information is already about half bullshite as it is before people start modifying it based on their weird mood

I’m 3 downvotes down before I could say I was just kidding.

I really don’t care about who we get Jones because this class sucked. Basketball only until the season is over.

Citizen will be a good get.

I knew you were kidding I want farmer more than Citizen weirdly. I just want traction at OL and Farmer is a stud

I’m talking about Florida (where he is committed). Which he visited at Napier’s invitation recently despite your fabrication on him not having an offer there. You know that but you do you pal

I’m not especially optimistic or excited about recruiting right now. Part of it is staff turnover plus the disappointing finish but there’s some things we definitely know and fabricating crap because you’re emotional just isn’t something I’m interesting in.

Farmer got a late offer from Bama and he’s visiting there this weekend after canceling a trip to Miss State. He was one of a handful of guys that Napier decided to pursue that was committed and he visited UF. Pyburn got an offer from UF and he’s visiting this weekend. He is allegedly a UF fan.

There’s no use in arguing those things. They are just true.

I have no idea where any of three are going. If they come to Auburn it’s because we won a battle. If they go elsewhere it’s because we lost a battle. Sometimes it’s just that simple. I think that’s the case for Pyburn, Citizen, and Farmer.

Neither of these guys make or break our class and missing or landing all three probably doesn’t speak to what’s to come.

If we’re talking 2023 — if most of these top in state guys skip our junior day weekend to go to UGA or Clemson instead of Auburn I think it’s telling that we’re in for another 2022 type of class. Im paying attention to that this weekend

Good points Jonesy. If we don't get rolling quickly with deep relationships and some early commits for the '23 class we are probably in deep doo doo.

- Jason Campbell is the manager of NIL Auburn Football

- 4* OL Clay Wedin really liked visiting Auburn. He’s a country kid and he was impressed with the staff, campus, plus the deer he saw driving into town

That’s fair. UF, LSU, and AU all feel good about landing this kid. I have no clue what happens

Interesting. So each sport will have some type of manager rep to work w players and the NIL group?

Chuck Person could've been so good in that role. He was persecuted for being ahead of his time

Now that is the type of recruit we need. Sign him up and then go get some corn fed country boys from Iowa or Nebraska.
