So who is on the board still:
Citizen maybe 50/50
Farmer probably
Pyburn probably
Woody sounds like even if we were his first choice grades are an issue
That it?
The OL this fall will be okay but we are really bare for 23, even if we have a stellar class, it wont help for another year after that at least. And I fear any coming out of the portal after this spring are ones who could not make the pecking order at their current team. Gonna have to continue to patchwork for a couple of years and really really hope we hit it out of the park for 23 in the meantime..

quote:While I fear this too, I think we have learned it is a fallacy. There were plenty of starters moving schools this year (one name rhymes with sticks). Yes, the majority are not every-game starters, but they move around for other reasons too and we have to hope Potato Posse can pull some legit talent in through the portal.

Ty’Ron Hopper back in the portal. A name to watch closely.
He is suppose to be really good. Many are thinking that he comes to Auburn.
An OL from Tennessee entered the portal yesterday also. Born in Nigeria.

I guess he is wanting to follow CRob?

Harsin recruited Ty’Ron Hopper’s cousin Tyniel to Boise too so the family knows Harsin and likes him. He’s got another cousin named Tyrone that played at UNC and now Mizzou

A few 2023 OL nuggets
Harsin is visiting 3* OL Koby Keenum’s HS today. He’ll get to introduce himself but can’t talk recruiting. He plays OT but he’s 6-3 or 6-4. Really physically gifted
Will Friend took a trip up to Massachusetts do the same at 5* OL Samson Okunlola’s HS.
and OT Wilkin Formby is visiting Auburn this weekend. He’s a 6’7 OT that’s currently unranked but has offers from Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss, USCw, etc. Probably going to be a 4*

Curious how Formby can have so many big offers and not be ranked yet? Does he not attend enough camps to be seen and evaluated? Just wanted to know how that happens, seems to happen somewhat regularly

He’s a 3* on Rivals (rated a few days ago) and a 4* on On3. 247 seems to be the slowest nowadays.
My guess is that they’re just really behind and they always prioritize finalizing the current class ahead of NSD over the next one.
He looked like a marshmellow 2 years ago but has slowly grown into his frame and looks a lot leaner now. I think at his height he’s going to climb the rankings if he does camps this spring and summer. He has visited Auburn several times already last fall

Sounds like both UF and LSU think Auburn is their main competition for 4* RB Citizen. Which is usually good news

Does anybody in America have a harder job than Cadillac Williams?

Looking like Caleb Williams to Wisconsin.

Well, we were hoping his relationship with Russell Wilson would be a factor

I’m going to laugh so hard if Caleb Williams goes to Wisconsin with Jaxson Dart leaving USC because Riley went all in on getting Williams there

Didn't he run Gabriel from UCF off too? With his history of getting QBs to the NFL he will surely get one of them?
Never mind he was at UCLA
