Sure, just providing my experience of watching both from a young age. I have been consistent on my criticism of Bo's game long before he committed to AU. On Ashford, assuming he has the mental aspect down, he will potentially be our most talented QB prospect since NM. He would have been a disaster under Gus' lose management style. He may be a good fit for Harsin.

Let’s try to prevent the recruiting thread from being a Bo Nix thread. I understand there’s some direct comparison now with Ashford in the fold but we’ve got a signing day in 3 weeks and that discussion can happen anytime afterward (or now) in another thread
It's not a big deal. This thread was about stupid deck jokes for several days instead of recruiting.

Take it to the Lee Hunter thread. Where we can discuss having 5 scholarship backup QBs on our team

Jones likes decks but not Bo Nix

Geriner is too. Either way ideal scenario all 5 are backup quality QBs with varying upside from slim to much untapped potential.

You can pitch pretty well, but not too much of a passer, any eligibility left?

You may not be able to afford my NLI bill.

I thought I was so cool back in high school when I had a Highlands t-shirt that said "Everyone loves a Big Deck" on the back of it.
I was also banned from wearing it at high school too

All have great upside. I think DD is probably not a QB Harsin would recruit, but still good upside. Your boy Gus had one servicable QB in that room in his last years at AU ( 2nd team Loy?) and we now have 4. Finley can get fricked if he dosen't like competition. I still think Ashford may swich to a different position.

Ashford could end up on the baseball team. I imagine the kid wanted to come home. Alabama to Oregon is a hell of a transition. A kid like that calls and wants to join the team, I feel like you take him regardless. Am I wrong?

As long as he is not a locker room cancer

He isn't dynamic enough to take up a full baseball scholarship. Unless they can leverage NIL in some capacity, I would imagine he is full football.

He's also 6'4" 230ish with speed. There would be multiple positions he could help, if only on special teams. TE, DE, big slot WR. On his baseball I know less than I know about his football.
(edit) Seems to be an emotional kid as well. Could be fuel or water in the gas tank.
