I have came to the conclusion that other than Cadillac this offensive staff sucks. Friend seems to be worse or as bad at recruiting than JB Grimes. This is getting ridiculous.

I’m thinking Harsin got sold on Friend having his connections and so many in the pool we had a shot at it out Harsin in a ‘try to tread water’ move. If he guts Friend we have nothing during this period.

Maybe Harsin decided to keep him to at least signing day is over. Who knows at this point. If things don't change, we are in serious trouble on offense for next year IMO.

I do believe Cadillac will land Citizen though.

I just want a big time recruiter for offense, next year isn’t looking very good. It was always going to be a sort of rebuild just think it’s become a really really big rebuild and Harsin hasn’t helped himself a ton. Maybe Geriner can come in and start, maybe these mediocre OL returning take huge steps forward, maybe the LB other than Pappoe can learn to fill their gaps, who knows.

Lol.. He will be 3rd or 4th string at best depending on who all transfers out. Waste of a scholarship, and considering how much work this roster needs I think its the wrong move.

Well, with a quarter of the roster leaving at least we have plenty of space

Waste a scholarship on a 3rd string QB transfer, but gotta make sure they are extra picky when it comes to OL.

Could there be more of a “meh” pickup at QB? Bo leaving must have really fricked up Harsin’s plans.

They already know what's happening with the QB room. Dee Davis will transfer out (no way that kid ever plays) and I can envision TJ leaving too and transferring down (either way he's not the guy).

I didn't get why they wanted Ashford of all options but I watched Oregon's spring game and I can see now. He might already be better than TJ and definitely looks the part. Looked much better as a passer than I envisioned.

In this situation he winds up 3rd string with Geriner ahead of him at 2nd.

For the record, I think there is a very real chance this happens, but it won't be until during/after spring.

Does he have WR experience? For the most part we have nothing to lose by giving him a shot at QB but he looks like an athlete. I’m so meh on all our QBs I’m hoping he surprises me.
