KN says Auburn is still talking to Dillon Gabriel. He’s not sure if it’s significant information or not
I was going to say some negative things about Gabriel based on some sort of cognitative bias. But then I realized I've seen him play maybe 10 snaps of football.

Hope this doesn’t spark another bitchfest but most of the QBs in the portal are better than Finley. Gotta have one of them

He and Kellen Moore of BSU/Harsin fame are about the same size and are both lefties. I think I'll go with that narative. 15-0 'ship!

(edit) If you go back and look at the Petersen/Harsin offensive machine it becomes readily apparent how much they used the TE to drive their throw-game production. I'm talking even goal line passes. Maybe they had to do that because they were at Boise State, but it looks by design to me.

I agree with you Jang, my point was, if you ask Holland he would probably tell you he came out and should have stayed, regardless of what we think. And it was not about comparing skills, of course Hall will be a better player, its about whether its in his best interest to stay or go. Somehow we got waay off track. Back to recruiting....

Seems to be some thought that UCLA's QB will return, which might be related to the Gabriel talk.

And he said he would make his decision after their bowl game, but now that the bowl game is cancelled, his decision should be coming maybe sooner.

If he goes, I still don't see Gabriel coming to AU, bc he's a west coast guy and he probably would like to finish out there if he could.

DJ James just set a visit to Auburn.

Oregon transfer DB. We’re thought to be his landing spot.

Our defense is going to be very solid the next couple of years. I hope we can get Mason to stick around.

White was the MVP for the game, Bo wasn’t. But IIRC Bo got a good amount of praise in the practices.

ETA: Yep, Nix got praise in practice but was pretty awful in the game. 7-17 for 89 yards.

To actually help his point, I believe Rattler won that year.

No the two MVP’s for the game were Jerrion Ealy and Marcus Washington. Washington hasn’t really done much in college but Ealy has been legit.

The all star games are fun but usually aren’t a great indicator of college success. However, I’d much rather hear that our players are doing well then struggling
