At one point the recruiting section was swag surfing. Tonight helped recruiting.

I don't really get a warm and fuzzy feeling about replacing a line full of underperforming 4*s with a bunch of 3*s.

Yeah mid range 3 star guys at that, need to be really active in the portal with OL unlike last year.

The portal sounds nice until you realize that the majority are either 2* guys that did well at tiny schools or higher ranked guys that have sucked at their current school. Portal is always going to be a bandaid. We need a fricking tourniquet.

Yeah, maybe we should only recruit under preforming 5* that look like Bama's last night.

OL is the hardest position to evaluate coming out of high school. Not concerned about the star rankings on those recruits, but highly concerned with developing OL.

Excellent description.
Think about all the guys who left Auburn in the portal. Which ones of them would you want back? Thats probably the same type of guys that left other programs other than a few good ones
Its a bandaid.
