I think he sticks there. This is going to be one of those guys where it just doesn’t make sense on paper why we didn’t push for him. Hopefully he doesn’t hurt us too much down the road

I like the kid but is he so talented that he was a must have. I don't understand with the emergence of Hunter where we need a second back in this class.

Next year we will have Tank Hunter Alston Ingram and Jackson. If you get down to your 5th running back being a talented walk on that you can legit get some game action out of I don't think a second back in this class is or should be a big priority. We need a game changer type back to head the class for '23

I don’t think we need another back but I really liked Judkins. But you’re right and I was thinking this same thing earlier. RBs get antsy and it’s worse now with the portal.

KN says they’re being patient. Guessing they’ve got a few guys committed elsewhere that they’re willing to take if they can flip them but otherwise I bet they’re willing to just take Alston

Problem is, we have no idea what happens in the portal after the year.

Have any of the pay sites (or anyone else, for that matter) addressed whether we might have interest in the Baylor transfer QB, Jacob Zeno?

Sure but the portal works both ways

Haven’t seen anything about him. Obviously, I wouldn’t be totally shocked to see them more active in that market if it still looks like we don’t have a QB by December

Can he pass and step up into the pocket?

They should have interest in any transfer QB with starting experience. I’d be cool with having 7 QBs and 13 OTs on scholarship going into spring

I haven't looked at Alton's tape, so how does he compare to Judkins in elusiveness, speed, power, hands, etc?

2 totally different backs?

Not totally different, although I think Judkins is a bit more shifty and might be faster

Alston is a classic all purpose back with some power. He can stay on the field in any look. He’s used a lot in their passing game. Sturdy looking build. Runs through the tackles. Has athleticism, as seen by some of the hurdling he does. Makes opponents miss and doesn’t waste a lot of steps. As usual, not sure about blocking

Geriner is playing one of the local teams here tonight.. I won't be there, but I should get some good updates and maybe a few flips, depending on who all goes. Should be a good game though. Both teams ranked in the top 10 of their classification.

Edit--- 2 TD passes in the first half
First TD
Second TD

Time to make hay off this LSU win... negative recruit O and staff and start robbing MS and LA of talent

There was a lot of talent in the stadium last night that we would love to get our hands on

Harsin has definitely given recruits some exciting, down to the wire games to watch. He should be telling them to come to Auburn, so we can have a lot of boring blowout victories.

‘23 5* LB Drayk Bowen will unofficial to the UGA game.

He’s a ND lock but I’d expect a shite ton of top ‘22 and ‘23 kids at this game on Saturday

Edit: Wiltfong says Auburn’s baseball program is a factor

Obviously we have to hit the portal hard this season. Haven’t heard anything but if Arch commits to UGa any possibility that Vandagriff transfers to AU? Just a thought
