His timeline reads like Jones said, kind of out of nowhere, when he really got noticed around January.

73 catches for 1310 yards and 13 TDs will get you noticed

They lost in overtime to Kaidon Salter’s Cedar Hill team in the 6A playoffs and the offers started pouring in afterward

He’ll need another strong season to get the bump needed to grab a 4* rating. Just the reality of having only one season on the books, being smaller, and not participating in any camps. Nothing for the services to update until more data comes in

Fair is much like Var Johnson was coming out of high school. Electric but a little undersized. Probably will play the same role as JJ. Nice get and this is one I expect to get a similar bump late in the season to be just around a 4 star kid.

Not a bad comp. like Johnson, who I think finally picked up his 4th star around late signing day, I expect Fair will get a bump equally as late

He looks considerably more physically developed than Johnson. He might be short, but he doesn't look frail. Johnson is listed at 159 pounds on the Auburn roster.

He’s certainly bigger than Johnson. I think they’re both underrated at this stage in their recruitment for similar reasons. Transferred to a bigger program, on the smaller size, no camps, huge season production, late riser in the rankings, etc

Yes it’s been very difficult for Johnson to add size. He’s been trying. Some guys that age are hard gainers and no matter what they do it’s extremely difficult to put on any size. Seems like I remember someone under Tubs time that was a DB that really had trouble gaining weight/size.

Im by no means making comparisons, but DeVonta Smith weighed in at 166 lbs and six feet tall at the combine.

We have a good array of receivers heading into this season, some in space players like JJ, a handful of tall and fast receivers...and a bushel of TEs. We just need a little more diverse passing game, and teaching Bo to run his options versus a laser focus on one receiver.

And it looks like we are going to bring in a nice group this go round, least we are off to a good start.

I also think our OL will surprise some people this fall. Then we pick up some in the portal to tide us over and some undergrads as well, and we will be fine.

KN posted an updated BCW visitor list. I'm feeling a little bit better about it now, especially with Albert and Story slated to come. Alston a maybe ... I assume not to give away his commitment plans. Also said there might be a couple of players committed elsewhere.

Can anyone post the full list? I let my 247 sub lapse at the beginning of the month and they finally caught on and blocked my access lol.

It is what it is. That's going to be recruiting this year unless guys get bumps and/or the product on the field far exceeds expectations.

I gave up looking at the stars weeks ago lol. I just figured there would be some names I haven't heard before to check out. There are about 5 or 6 that are new to me for '22.

About time to reached out to Omari Kelly too.

It’s not too surprising because we know who they’re pursuing at this point before the season gets going. But I think this season will open some doors that are currently shut.

Damari, I bet, ends up going. I think Judkins finds a way to be there too.

I’d love to see Khurtiss Perry there

I think Omari Kelly would be a better safety in college then WR. He’s a good athlete needs to go hard in the weight room. Maybe he has.

You want Perry on board and I want Finkley. I’d take either or both at this point.

Omarion Hamption committed to North Carolina today. No surprise but his name has come up in a couple of discussions.
