Nobody cares. I certainly don’t. I put work into this thread and tried to keep the shite posting out for the sake of everyone here wanting information. I will be happy to reciprocate to yours if it’s going to be like this.

My thing is I can understand having difference of opinions but really you guys think the QB competition announcement the kids finding out from ESPN instead of their coach isn’t a big deal?

Even the scout teamers and walkon work their arse off to try to win jobs.

I don't agree with the way it was done, but its not going to be the reason we lose games this year either is how I see it.

It's a huge deal but Harsin would have the least benefit for doing it. The anti-Harsin people are, as expected, blaming Harsin while ignoring logic.

My guess is that someone, media or not, ignored the "don't release before x time" mandate.

I don’t think it’s a huge deal at all. Harsin’s flair for doing things differently sure is funny though. I once read an article that be blocked all of the boise local writers on Twitter and it took a FOIA request to find that out. He was known as a prick in Boise and he’s doing that here.

I hope TJ plays well.

I sort of gave up building my weekends around football around 2018 or so.

I’ll watch if it’s at night or if the weather is bad, but I don’t change my tee time based on the schedule.

It is what it is. Maybe we will have a good season. Maybe not.

SIAP

@AuburnFootball let’s ride - TJ's Tweet

He's either way ballsy or the guy's indeed faster this year.

So you think the anti-Harsin people leaked it to ESPN lol.

How would they know who the starter is? Get real

no. I do think a bigger deal is being made of it than should be. IF Auburn had gotten to 11 wins last year..........nobody here would give a damn either way.

Winning solves a lot of problems. The difference between 11 wins and 6 wins is large.

Maybe ESPN set him up but when you “know” you let the players know.

Just shows more of how out of touch or how serious the job is in my opinion.

I have to handle 3-4 of these type situations every year. I bring both players in at the same time I talk to them about their strengths and weaknesses that I see and how each can improve. Then I let them know the basis of why I’m choosing one over the other to be say my “starter” at that position.

Regardless 11 wins or 11 loses last year it’s shitty and very unprofessional. These kids dedicated their entire life to chasing that dream. Some kids it’s like ok but others are devastated.

I’m not trying to make a bigger deal of it then it is and don’t think it affects any game this year just not the way any coach I can think of would have handled it.
