I don’t know much about them other than I watched them almost beat Kansas on the road last year and hopefully that’s good enough to scare our guys into playing good ball.

Oh and they have Ticket Gaines who I really liked at UT.

Is this one of those games where our Ken Pom rating goes down even if we win by 20?

No, that’s more when you play teams in the 300 range. I wouldn’t put much stock in KP early though. It’s gonna change a ton as games get played.

Kenpom has us about 16 pts better on a neutral court… being at home, 20 is about right.

To answer your question, if we win by less than 20 there’s a good chance we drop in his metric.

Are we going absolutely bonkers on social media again this year? That was so much fun seeing all that last year.

Anybody have updates on team health for tonight? Last I heard Jaylin was dealing with migraines, Flanigan had a stomach bug and Broome was in a boot.

Nothing on On3 about them. Jay Phillips who is solid just posted a preview article for the game tonight and didn’t mention anyone being out.

I think this game is going to be closer than we want but will be a good tough (comparatively) test early. Broome has been in a boot but a lot of people seem to think it's just a comfort thing.

Yeah, couple guys have flu and Johni has been in a boot. He’s probably a game time decision. Think I heard Bruce say Flan has been dealing with migraines?

Yeah that was the update Thursday but we haven't heard any updates. Flanigan also had the stomach virus.
