Gabe Wright flirted with Tennessee. They thought they had him.

He used a lot of words to say “IDK”.

Yep, the article is just breaking his silence on the situation. He went quiet and many started freaking out.

He did say that Phillips is still communicating with our coaching staff, so that is always good news. Between that and the fact that we got his last visit, it would seem that our chances are just as good, if not slightly better, than Tennessee’s chances.

I don't understand how the G-league is attractive anymore since the NIL.
Now, you can go to college, play infront of sold out crowds at every home game, become a household name by the end of March and make $.
Or you can go to the G league and make some $, play in front of dozens of fans, and become a name in the inner circle of basketball fans.
I get that $ was a drive before, but seems like it's a no brainer now.

Same it’s not like we expect them to be exemplary students. Just show up just enough to stay eligible for one year. G league is a pretty dumb concept these days.

What players that went to G League have not only gotten to NBA, but gotten big lottery type contracts?
I don’t follow NBA real close so not sure, but I would think it would be better to go to college and show out. Especially like was said about them now getting NIL.

Most who have went G League dropped in draft status (Jalen Green might be the only that went up). Less eyes on them, while you can say that Jabari increased his stock by coming to Auburn and the amount of exposure he received.

I bet my left nut Scoot Henderson wishes he would’ve come to Auburn.
