Our guys weren’t ready to play tonight. Plain and simple. We’ve got too many veteran guys being stupid and lazy.

had to just turn it off as it was so frustrating to watch...Wonder when we will recruit some pure shooters? That is missing...offense took us to the final 4.

First half just got out energy’d. We will be ok. Maybe needed another wake up call. But running out of time To start beating decent teams.

I don’t mind small quick point guards but we need size at the 2 and a shooter. Slasher at the 3. Shooter at 4. And a shot blocker/rebounder at the 5. We are just so undersized at the 1 thru 3. Flanigan is a great athlete but no body control.

We don’t really have a 4 so Broome is getting smothered and hammered in the paint. Traore was supposed to be that guy but he’s just not ready and Moore is not really a fit, though I love his heart.

Freshman we have coming in next year might be the best shooter in the class and are squarely in the hunt for 3 guards in the class after that are excellent scorers.

Yeah if Chance was what we hoped he’d be perfect at the 2. Maybe he will be next year

I suspect it will be more of a priority in the upcoming portal class as well

Yeah that’s not the issue. Bruce has proven that small guards can work well countless times. Like you said, you need at least a couple shooters to keep defenses honest.

Jaylin is a good 4, he was just terrible tonight. Expect that one out of every 6 games from that guy

Well yeah I think you either need to be able to shoot well or you need to be 6’3 + at the 2. You can’t be neither

I think so too. It’s not just a coincidence that we’ve now had 3 poor shooting teams (except for Jabari) in a row and seemingly every guard we go after is a sharpshooter.

I really do personally like these guys, but way past ready for the turnover. Few exceptions.

I think we find out just how loyal Bruce is after this year. He’s been loyal to a fault up until now, but there’s several guys that need to be told they don’t have a spot any more assuming he can find better replacements in the portal.

We haven’t had one for two seasons now. Bruce got caught with his pants down when Sharife declared for the draft and he didn’t have any other elite gaurds in the pipeline.
Now we’re stuck with the current guys.
