Omaha and OKC bound! Now for the links.

Baseball looks to build on an impressive 2019 and start of 2020 before getting shut down. So far Auburn is either barely out of polls or in the #20-25 range. Richard Fitts and Ryan Bliss have been getting named to some 2nd and third team All American lists.

I am a coach and don’t generally comment about Auburn baseball because I hope to have players recruited at times. I do speak about some players sometimes that I think we should be going after but about all I will bring to any baseball discussion.

With that said I think if we can play good defense up the middle and get some timely hitting like we did in the Omaha run a couple years ago then we can make the tournament. We should have a deep pitching staff if everyone stays healthy but we don’t have a Mize on the staff...yet. Need some power hitters to step up they have had plenty of time to get bigger and stronger for sure.

Still want to bitch about the disadvantages that AU and Bama face especially in baseball because all the other states have scholarships like the HOPE in Georgia.

I thought this was the minimum expectation with this team, am I wrong about that?

CAN NOT be overstated. Huge advantage for their programs.

Softball is predicted to finish 10th out of 13 in the league by SEC coaches. It’s good to have Alyssa Rivera back. We have a good set of true freshman including two pitchers. With our returning pitchers, Yarbrough needs to pick up where she left off, and Dean needs more from Lexie Handley.

Last year would’ve been Dean’s down year so the cancellation was a silver lining. This is the year that things are supposed to be on the uptick.

Who isn't fielding a team in the conference?

Candy plays women's bowling as opposed to softball.

We should easily be in the tournament and should challenge to host.

In, but I'm afraid we missed our amazing chance when they cancelled the season last year.

Have they announced attendance/covid policies yet for games? Fans allowed? Sorry if it’s been said, but I can’t find anything.

What's the weekend rotation going to be? I've not followed anything since the shutdown but I'm assuming Burns entered the draft

I would imagine it'll be Fitts, Owen, and Greenhill. But one of the freshman has showed out, can't remember which one.

Was drafted in the first round by the Indians.

Yeah, hopefully we get a lot more tv games due to limited tickets.
