I hope he sucks against us. Still, He’s done well for himself landing at a second tier school like Florida though.

Pegues may be eating himself into a defensive lineman. He is listed at 280 now. He is very agile for a man his size. Daquan Newkirk was a running back in high school.

I know here we go with the TE discussion. By the way if anyone thinks Fromm is going to be a blocking tight end at 218 lbs? We have two receivers bigger, and faster than that....and they have a lot of practice blocking.

Not that my boy Joey will need much help when he comes around the end toteing the rock.

Need to see where he’s at in the fall but he’s a freshman. I don’t think he’s going to be heavily relied on outside of ST

Back to recruiting...

Someone needs to go ahead and make a 2019 football season thread or else the tidbits undeserving of a thread are coming here.

Not looking for a 2nd TE but would take an Elite guy. In great shape for 4* Jeremiah Peguesus
FIFY.

Not sure who sums these for you but their summing skills leave something to be desired sometimes.

He always slants them. I don’t always feel like correcting it.

For what he left out-

Chris Thompson Jr may visit the last weekend of July. Texas 247 folks see AU as the main threat and like AU’s chances to land Thompson if he visits again that weekend.

Stackhouse - he’s not planning to come to the cook out later this month but says he’ll be back in Auburn sometime around then. Stackhouse indicated he’s strongly committed to UGA at The Opening but the trail of visits says otherwise.

The comments on Tank and Toafili are better summarized as: Auburn continues to heavily recruit Roydell Williams despite also pursuing Tank and Toafili.

So we would take a 5th WR but won't take Tisdol? Lame

Thanks to generous friends I am blessed & thankful to see the original articles & posts. Not sure how things are now but a couple years ago 24 said he gets posts that have already been summed for him by friends.

Agreed. I usually don't unless the sum gives a different picture than what the staff's plans are for a class.

Basically 0% chance EJ comes here.

FWIW, the article says we’re full at LB (even without Webb) but we’d take Webb.

This is one of the more interesting things to follow right now to me. I have to imagine someone is already telling him that he needs to lose weight, but if he doesn't what do we do? We can't have a 300 lb TE and I haven't heard many other names mentioned besides Washington.

I still say if there's room at the end and he's available then we end up taking him.

The interesting question is whether we take Tisdol if we miss on Webb.

Starting to think our recruiting guys were just wrong about our staffs interest in Tisdol or Tisdol’s interest in AU.

There are a couple of interesting stories out there about him. Jeffrey Lee said he was a take for Auburn the week before Steiner committed but chose to wait. Someone connected to the program says he tried to commit twice leading up to Steiner’s commitment and Auburn wouldn’t take it. I don’t know which one is right. Just passing it along.
