In more RB news, we seem to be in good shape for 4* Tank Bigsby. He talks to Caddy everyday and he might be able to visit for Big Cat if he can make it after his SAT.

Says Auburn is the only school right now he knows he will take an official visit to.

What do you know about this kid?

One that Trussville *ahem* recruited.

Kid's skillset is basically Dyer's, but faster. Thrives on contact, bowling ball. Will be the ideal back size-wise when he arrives at AU. Near perfect back for the Malzahn system.

He does not look faster than Dyer. He's got good vision between the tackles and knows when and where to hit the hole. He's really good for 20-30 yards, but he does not have breakaway speed. Wish we recruited bigger backs, but he gets good yards after first contact. Agree he's a solid recruit.

We’re going with “transfer destination”

There’s some talk that Dazalin might not end up in Alabama’s class. Wouldn’t be surprised to learn shortly that Auburn is recruiting him hard right now.

He chose no-contact which means he knows where he’s going.

I still don’t think it’s Auburn but

Notes from KN

4* ATH Jeremiah Pegues is visiting for Big Cat. He’s 6’3 260 and Auburn likes him somewhere on offense it sounds like.

Auburn offered 3* OG James Robinson. Robinson’s recruitment is starting to blow up. Recent offers from Tennessee, Nebraska, and Ole Miss.

I think this kid looks like he would blow Dyer away in a 100 meter dash. Are we watching seperate tape?

Auburn made the top 4 for 4* LB Wesley Steiner. Top 150 recruit. Another Stanford/AU battle that basically comes down him getting accepted into Stanford.

Offered 3* OT Michael Rankins and 3* OG James Robinson.

A couple of people we're confirmed for Big Cat weekend, but its VIP so your guess is as good as mine.

I think what you are looking at is what I posted already. Jeremiah Pegues - 4* ATH from Mississippi

You're right. You had Robinson too. I only saw Jeremiah Wrights name posted for whatever reason.

Auburn just offered JUCO OT Kilian Zierer

6-7 290, has offers from ASU, Oregon, FSU, and UCLA.

We predicted here that we’d probably get back in the JUCO OT market after Troxell’s latest knee injuries

More on Zierer from KN-

From Germany, played soccer for 10 years. Saw an NFL game on a vacation in 2015 in Florida and thought he could be a lineman.

18 offers with UCLA out ahead. He said Auburn is one of his best offers and he likes that the OL will need starters next year. Undecided on official visits right now

How we have not been able to get kids on this fact alone baffles me

Didn't he just get there pretty recently? Looks like he's getting out of the business for the most part too. Wolk was/is one of the best imo. When he predicted a guy was coming to Auburn you could bank on it.

KN’s OL board for AU:

4* OT Dumervill (OU lean)
4* OT Issiah Walker (SC commit)
4* OT Javion Cohen (former SC commit)
3* JUCO OT (German kid new to football, probably staying out west)
3* OT Michael Rankins ( KN knows literally nothing about him)
UR OT Jeremiah Wright (UT and AU offered this week, but he isn’t a take)

3* OG Tate Johnson (AU, UF, GT)
3* OG Marcus Henderson (wide open)
3* OG Xavier Hill (LSU or Bama likely)
3* OG/OT Marlon Martinez (LSU lean)
3* OG Miller Merriweather-Lewis (only shot here is if Martinez chooses LSU)
3* OG James Robinson (non-comittable offer)

Just a frustrating board. About a third of these guys don’t have a committable offer and another third we don’t seem to be in any position to land.

Cohen seems like a real possibility, at least. This is the most bizarre recruitment strategy for OT I’ve ever seen. Our top options are either committed to other schools or heavily leaning another direction and that’s been the case for every guy we’ve been on this cycle.
