To be determined if Nix can come in early and make a case but I watched some more of his Hudl tapes today and he makes quite a bit of plays under duress. The last QB I watched on tape that was under that amount of pressure each play was Boobee. But Nix steps into throws and gets lit up sometimes. It’s beautiful

Looking forward to seeing him for a series or two in the UA All American game to see if it’s the Pinson OL or if he needs the extra seconds the rollout provides to make decisions. Hoping it’s not the latter

Im still pissed he did not see much play this season and I aint buying the stubbed toe injury crap. And it certainly was not to save a redshirt with Bo coming. Just another waste of talent.

He injured his hand making trick catches off jug machine per Tate which is why he didn't play in early season blowout games
Only game he could have played was Liberty but Gus elected to give last snaps to senior walk on
Gatewood was only freshman that did not play any snaps at all this past fall

Nix will be here in the spring. His dad is not only a former coach but a former OC. I guarantee you Nix is more prepared to start than anything we have on our roster that Gus has influenced.
Gus doesn't have a good track record trusting young players though.

Per PM Tim Horton is in play for HC at App State.
I don't see this hurting us with any RB recruits since we're trailing on all of them
