If Ashley or Troxell can't get it together we do. The fact neither guy could beat out Driscoll has me really worried.

Don't have to but would be really really nice.

Trox moved to guard 2 weeks ago. He may develop into a starting OT but I'm sure the move to guard was for a reason.

Tyler Carr left the team.

Here's how we look pending the 2019 OLine Class.

Center - Irvin, Kim, Brahms
Guard - Manning, Hamm, Sutts, Horton, Harrell, Trox, CA,
OT - Tega, Sammons, Sharp, Driscoll

Now keep in mind this years juniors won't be here with the 2020 signing class so come fall 2020 (pending our OL class this year) our OTs on roster will be

1- Prince Sammons

And of course CA and Trox if they move back outside. Which at this rate they would have to.

Hope the grad transfer and juco market are good to us

Wow, he wasn’t even 50 years old. Way too young to die.

He said he had congestive heart failure a while back. Expected but damn, sucks. WDE, brother, hope it wasn’t too painful on the way out.

It seems very likely now that it was jrljr so he needs his own thread.

We need this guy to help right our O line.

It is him. We kept in contact through texting and email occasionally. He was only 48. He said he was fighting this congestive heart failure, but was in good spirits. Said if it's his time he has done his best to live it to the fullest.

He passed away Sept 7. I knew him through here and sat with him and his family at the 2013 UGA game. He was awkward on here in his posting I know, but he had a deep love for Auburn and comes from a long time Auburn family. Long time donors and he in fact did meet with some high school players that showed up to his daughter's party. He sent me photos of them. He just didn't know how to express himself and came across as indifferent, crass, and brash. He went through a lot of struggles health wise and was not doing well at all. I changed jobs and lost his number and I just reached out to him a couple of days ago to see how he was doing and never received a response and Jangalangs post explains why.

He really was a nice guy and had a big giving heart. His father and brother are the same. He offered me tickets several times if I could make it in for a game. He always invited me to their tail gate. He was a high school basketball player with his brother and was always proud of that time.

He did always pass along info he heard through family contacts with the football program and not what he made up. It was not always accurate and probably mostly not accurate, but he tried and just cam across wrong and would grind the lot of you.

Most of the time he was just trying to be funny and have fun here.

Anyway that is what I know about Jay. RIP Jay and War Eagle!!!

Is Putnam the five star lineman attending the game this Saturday or was KN referring to someone else this morning?
